“It's all the thoughtful touches at this property, which make it stand out from other holiday homes.”

We've stayed here 7 times over the last 8 years, so it must be excellent. The owners are so friendly and helpful and you will find plenty of everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable, including a very generous welcome basket of goodies. There are lots of little touches too, such as fresh flowers and Easter eggs at Easter time. The little cottage is very well located, within walking distance of Hebden Bridge and Hardcastle Crags (if you can face the walk back up the hill) Further afield there is Haworth and Malham Tarn and a great train line that takes you easily to Manchester or Leeds. We will be back for visit number 8 in 2015!

“Cosy cottage, felt completely at home, everything perfect!”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2014

Stayed at this cottage when working in the area. The owners have thought of everything, a welcome pack on arrival, chocolates in the bedroom and bottles of wine (at a very reasonable price) in case you want a tipple. Its a really warm cottage, which is useful in Wadsworth as its up on the hills and it can get very cold, a great place to come back to after a long walk. Although the owners live in the cottage behind this one they weren't intrusive a all, they give you the information you need and then let you get on with it. It felt very peaceful and relaxed and will come back another time just for a break, Would highly recommend.

“Cosy Cottage, warm welcome”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2014

Had a lovely few days at Old Town Hall Cottages. Received a lovely warm welcome from Stuart. Cottage was nice and warm on a arrival, just what you after a day of travelling! Cottage was in a great location, although weather wasn't great we still managed a lovely walk to the nearby Hardcastle Crags. Shame we only had two nights there, so much more of the area to see. Went to the nearby Robin Hood pub. Good food, generous portions! Lynda and Stuart were great hosts and they have a lovely cottage that we would definitely love to return to!
