“Perfect”

Reviewed 3 May 2017

We booked this cottage for the May day weekend and it was perfect,it was very clean and tidy and massive ( compared to our home) plenty of room for the 6 of us who were there. Communication between all parties was spot on and we were met on the day by Sue who gave us the guided tour. And that hot tub was something else even on a cool night.brilliant place brilliant weekend. !!!!

Owner's reply: I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are counting the weeks to being back ourselves. Thank you for looking after it for us. All the very best. Sally

“Amazingly beautiful house!”

Reviewed 27 Feb 2017

We visited this house of 2 families of 4 people for a long weekend time to chill together. The house was beautiful and we'll set out and equipped. All the rooms were spacious in beautiful surroundings. We also had 2 dogs with us and the grounds were very safe with loads of room for them to run around. The hot tub was very clean and was amazing. We all loved it there and sue was great with communication before and during our stay we will definitely like to return very soon.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much, our dogs love the area, spent a long summer putting in the fencing but worth it. Looking forward to some long walks ourselves. Thank you for looking after our home. All the best Sally

“Roomy, comfortable and welcoming.”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2017

We were a large family group staying at Meadow Cottage ranging in age from 4 months to 51 years old. During the booking process communication was excellent along with on the day as weather was bad and Sue kept us up to speed with what was happening locally. We received a show round when we arrived and quickly settled into this lovely home. Well furnished, very comfortable beds, plenty of toilets for a large group. Bonus of two sitting rooms one of which was adopted as a man-cave for the lads playing on the Xbox. We felt the home gave bags of room so the 9 of us didn't feel on top of one another. Hot tub was really nice. Would highly recommend this rental. Only drawbacks we found were a slight lack of kitchen utensils-lots of ladels but not enough serving spoons or wooden spoons as we like to cook when we're away; and, 7 out of the 8 of us couldn't get on either of the WiFi networks. Apart from those two slight drawbacks would highly recommend for a quiet, but very comfortable break with a touch of indulgence.

Owner's reply: Thankyou for you lovely review. We can certainly add more serving spoons. The internet is always reliable except occasionally during bad weather. A man cave is a great description for the second sitting room. Thank you once again.
