Just a 5 minute bus ride to the city centre, the property is in a residential area, away from the main thoroughfares of Headington and St Clements. The property consists of a large open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining table and comfortable lounge area with a juliet balcony adding to the light and airy feel of the property. There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a single bedroom with the family shower room next door.

Location and access
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a purpose built development and is very well located for the Headington hospitals and Oxford Brookes University. Next to the major Green Road Roundabout which links the Oxford ring road and the A40/M40 to London, it has fast access to most areas including the business and science parks of Oxford and South Oxfordshire. The direct coach service to London goes straight past the apartment and there is a frequent bus service to Oxford city centre, which is 2 miles away and takes about 15 minutes.
Local area and amenities
Headington is a smart and popular residential area to the north-east of Oxford. It is the part of Oxford which has the best access to London via the A40/M40, so it attracts many London commuters. It has its own shopping area with all the shops guests will need (including supermarkets, chemists, butcher's, newsagent's etc) and many continental pubs and restaurants. It also has a number of attractive green spaces including Bury Knowle Park, South Park and Headington Hill Park within walking distance. Delightful villages and countryside are also very close on the other side of the Oxford ring road.

"Pleasant & modern flat in convenient location"
This modern first-floor flat in Headington, Oxford met our expectations pretty well. The place is spacious, light, clean and airy, within a short walk of supermarkets, pubs and good curry. However, it has no outdoor space (the 'juliet balcony' has space only for an ultra-thin Juliet) and there is quite a lot of traffic noise from the adjacent busy London Road. Also, in the main bedroom the laminated floor might be a little hazardous for small children or the infirm as it is beginning to 'peel' in places. For those not up with state-of-the-art kitchen tech, instructions for the hob are needed, and for those who prefer not to do lots of cleaning on holiday the page of cleaning tasks which have to be carried out before departure are intimidating and take the edge off your stay. But all that said it suited myself and my teenage son very well and we would certainly consider returning as the location was so handy - just right for us.
