Kelso house is our luxury home from home holiday hideaway. Located just 10 minutes from walk Heacham beach.

HEACHAM Heacham is a popular, thriving, coastal village, located on the A149, 2 miles south from the seaside resort of Hunstanton. The village has a wide range of shops from two supermarkets, wine shop, two butchers, bakery, chemist, post office, newsagents and department/hardware store to amenities such as a doctors, library, vets, hairdressers, garage, cafes, fish and chip shops, Cantonese takeaway and bike hire. There are two beaches which enjoy stunning sunsets, primary and junior schools, a pub called the West Norfolk with adjoining butchers and the Heacham Manor Hotel and Restaurant with an 18 hole golf course. There are also 2 more pubs all of which are within walking distance of the house. There is an annual carnival, fete and many activities through local clubs and groups including the Sports and Social club, playgroup and Judo. Norfolk Lavender, England's premier lavender farm is also close by which has a plant centre, restaurant, children's indoor playarea and farm, interior/gift shop and the award winning Walsingham Farm Shop selling the best local food direct from producers. The village is served by regular transport links to Hunstanton and the popular town of King's Lynn, both offering a wider range of amenities, whilst King's Lynn has direct rail links to London King's Cross via Cambridge. There are many walks close by and two RSPB bird reserves within easy reach at Titchwell and Snettisham.

The house is fully equipped so you can just arrive and enjoy.

There is a spacious modern kitchen with table and chairs, range cooker and a Nespresso maker for your morning coffee. To the rear of the kitchen there is a shower room perfect for washing off the sand after a day at the beach for you and your 4 legged friend. There is a washer dryer for you to use as well in a small utility room leading into a small fully secure garden at the rear.

2 lounges with smart tv's one with sky means after a busy day out exploring the North Norfolk Coast there are no arguments. The kids can ceatch movie before bed whist the grown ups are next door with a drink and maybe the news.

Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms and a luxury hotel style bathroom with a freestanding bath. The beds have 4000 pocket sprung John Lewis mattresses high quality cotton bed linen and fluffy towels for you to enjoy.

The Coast Hopper bus starts at Kings Lynn and travels all the way round the gorgeous coastal villages of the North Norfolk coast where you will find a huge variety of fantastic places to eat and drink and then some lovely walks to work it all off.

Nearby there are a number of fine golf courses including Heacham Manor.

The area is also great for walks seeing wildlife and even the seals at Blakeney Point.

“Fabulous House”

Kelso (38a) has everything a family could need, Space to be together and space to have some time apart. It is fully equipped with quality provisions. Just a short walk from the beach where we could walk and walk with the dog.

Kelso cottage is a home from home - clean and beautifully decorated, with quirky doggy artwork and seaside themed decorations. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the cupcakes and prosecco awaiting us on arrival. It was a brilliant base to visit wonderful local Norfolk beaches such as Wells-next-the-sea, Hunstanton and of course Heacham only a 10-15 minute walk from the house. Also near to Blakeney where we enjoyed a boat trip with Temple boats to see the seals- so amazing! Would recommend the house to any family planning to visit the area.

Had a lovely weeks stay at Kelso House, Tanya was great from the start and the fizz and cakes on arrival, a lovely surprise! The house is in a great location in Heacham with plenty to do in the nearby area. Kelso house is a spacious 4 bedroom and the two lounges a great bonus with a lovely kitchen. Really well equipped with everything you need! Would absolutely recommend!

We stayed August bank holiday week, there were 4 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs and we’re lucky to have amazing weather! House was clean and plenty big enough for all of us. There was even a welcome asker of food and drink gifts which was a lovely touch. Kitchen has everything you need and there is plenty of lounge space. Garden was a little sun trap and we even managed to enjoy the BBQ available. Beds were all very comfortable, worth pointing out the 4th bedroom is very small & has bunk beds. Fine for kids but would be a squash for adults. Location is great, 10 min walk to Heacham beach & close to pubs & a few shops. Would definitely stay again and also recommend.

Good location from which to explore Norfolk. Kelso House is plenty big enough for a family of 8. Nicely decorated with modern fixtures and fittings and everything you need for your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tanya (the owner) a message.

If Tanya (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
