The Cornwall region
With miles and miles of coastline, one of the best ways to enjoy Cornwall is by walking the South West Coast Path.
You are never far from the sea, from historic fishing villages to sophisticated resort towns - all this and hundreds of beaches to choose from.
Unspoilt, uncrowded and wild in places, Cornwall is full of beauty.
Cornwall, which is located on the south westernmost tip of mainland Britain, benefit from the effects of the Gulfstream, which means that the climate is mild throughout most of the year. The weather can be very changeable and different on the north coast from the south coast which means that you can generally find good weather in one part of the region.
There is plenty for everyone. You may like to relax at the beach or Hayle Open Air Swimming Pool. If you like to be active you could try surfing (surf board and body board hire is available locally, and surfing schools) body boarding, kite surfing,Paragliding, cycling, watersports, walking or horseriding. If you prefer something more relaxing you could try fishing, bird watching or golf at the local Golf Driving Range or Pitch and Putt, or for the more experienced golfer, West Cornwall Golf Club which is only 1 mile from the apartment.

"great stay in such a pretty place"
My partner and i spent a week here, the landlady meet us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. The cottage was bigger that we thought it would be, great for the two of us. The neighbour was friendlly and at the bottom of the street great fish and chips, and bakery for our rolls in our packed lunch. The cottage has great tv choice and dvd bulit into it a great log fire and the esso garage near lidil has plenty supply of logs. warm and has everything we needed. the train station and where to park our car was less than 30 sec walk and very safe. Hayle has a lovely sanddunes and great place to watch birds. had a great stay even in the depths of winter would defentlly come back again.

"Lovely cosy quiet little cottage"
The cottage was very nicely decorated throughout. The owners met us on arrival and had provided a welcome goodies pack for us too. Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. The location is good too, in easy reach by car to all the local sites, St Ives, Penzance, Lands End, Minack Theatre. Highly recommeded. The wood burning stove in the living room was a nice touch too. Can't beat a real fire! :-)

"Perfect cottage - warm, really nicely decorated, cosy and v comfortable"
Could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. The owners met us at the train station, showed us around the cottage which has been really recently done out and is absolutely lovely - from the burner, new kitchen to the heated floors and lovely bathroom. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the cottage - really can't say enough good things about it. The welcome bits the owners had put out for us were so appreciated. Location is great...
