The property is not suitable for small children, because the Chalet is situated on a cliff and the fencing is limited. The beach at Hayle known for it's 3 miles of golden sands has it's own beach shop-café. Access to the southwest coastal path is only yards away. The local amenities; shop & pub are within walking distance

The popular resort of St.Ives is only a short car journey away.In the height of the hols/season when parking in St.Ives is very difficult it might be a good alternative to drive to the Park & Ride at Lelant Saltings and take the scenic 13mins train journey along the coast line into St.Ives. The galleries, shops and seafood Restaurantsalong with the hustle and bustle of the resort is certainly something to be experienced.

Location description from owner

The England region

Cornwall is a truly inspirational county to visit! With so much natural beauty, history and stunning coastline, visitors can never tire of things to do.

For families there’s obviously the beaches, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Helston; Lands End Visitors Centre; a zoo and aquarium in Newquay and a Seal Sanctuary in Helston. If the weather’s not so good there is also Paradise Park, just down the road (it has a jungle barn) Penguins and a Play Zone. For those wanting to be active there is a golf course in Lelant, trout fishing, riding, surfing, rambling and much more

Hayle

The St Ives /Hayle area.
We have beaches just a 10 minute drive away - Godrevy/Gwithian beach is superb, great for surfers yet still safe for children. The quaint fishing port of St Ives is only a 20 minute drive away and is full of great restaurants and cafes, quirky, individual shops, and traditional seaside activities for families. Fames for its artistic light, St Ives boast the Tate Gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and a plethora of galleries.

And don't forget St Michaels Mount in the pretty village of Marazion, only 20 minutes away.
Within 30 minutes you could be surfing at Watergate Bay (or eating at Jamie's thirteen), wandering around Padstow (or eating fish and chips at Rick Steins) or just gazing in wonder at the view of Porthcurno beach from the Minnack Theatre.
