<p>A cosy cottage in a elevated position gives amazing views across the Sett Valley and near to Kinder Scout,trekkers will love this comfortable,two-bedroom house. Hayfield is located at the north-eastern edge of the Peak District National Park,making it off-the-beaten track compared to some regions. The north of the Peak District is emptier,starkly beautiful,and attractive to those that shun the crowds. There are some great day trips to be had in the area,so make sure Blue John Cavern,Chatsworth House,Buxton Spring,Lyme Park and the Pennine Way are on your radar.  The Peaks have strong a strong literary connection to Jane Austen,so there are numerous pilgrimages to add your list of day trips too.</p><p>Enter the cottage through the front door into the lounge. There are coat hooks behind the door on your left.  Muddy boots can be left outside at the top of the steps.  The lounge is decorated in restful tones and provides comfortable seating for four people,there is a wood burner and coffee table that doubles up as a stool,with two removable seat pads that store neatly underneath. A small table and two stools provides the perfect place for breakfast with a view across to the hills. The front door is a stable door,so in the summer,why not open the top half to bring the outside in,or put a chair on the front step and take in the view. The stylish and compact kitchen has a small breakfast bar,an electric oven and four-ring hob,a fridge with freezer compartment,and coffee maker. Access to the wet-room and toilet is through the kitchen,where you will find a luxurious shower . Look out for the delightful modern take on the cuckoo clock! And if you’re inquisitive,you may find the washing machine behind a curtain under the stairs (you’ll have to crawl under the breakfast bar!)  The master and second bedroom are accessed via a steep staircase from the kitchen. The master bedroom is located at the front of the house and has a lovely view to the hills across the other side of the village. With a comfortable king size bed,generous wardrobe and amazing free-standing copper bath,this is a beautifully indulgent room.  There is a second bedroom with a very comfortable,three-quarter bed and set of drawers. This room has a view over the fields behind the cottage and on to "Twenty Trees" a famous local landmark on the Snake Pass Trail. There is a compact toilet off the upstairs landing for convenience.</p><p>The garden is accessed through the kitchen. There is a small private,enclosed decked area. Each of the cottages in the terrace has a privately owned garden,but to enhance the outlook for everyone,they have not been individually fenced. The garden for Sett Cottage is roughly the width of the cottage,bordered on its left as you look at it from the house by a cherry tree and on the right by stone stairs that lead to the neighbours patio at the top of the garden. We regret that there is no allocated parking at Sett Cottage,but you can park on the lane at the front of the house. <br /> </p>
