Description from owner

Description

A beautifully-presented, bright and spacious stone-built terraced cottage suitable for 4 people at the foot of Kinder Scout in the pretty Peak District village of Hayfield. Well appointed throughout to provide cosy yet contemporary living, Peak Cottage is the perfect place for families or couples looking to spend time together in this pretty part of the Peak District.

You'll find everything you need for a relaxing holiday, from spacious bedrooms with lovely views, White Company bed-linen and plenty of fluffy towels, to a very well-equipped kitchen/dining area and comfortable sitting room with WiFi. The responsive heating controls and a wood-burning stove make it ideal even in the cooler months. Outside, Peak Cottage has an attractive garden with raised lawn and small patio to enjoy those sunny Peak District evenings. The garden also has a BBQ and lock-up shed to store mountain bikes or outdoor gear with a hose and brush for boot and bike washing. A travel cot, stair-gate and high chair are available for babies and toddlers.

The cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the Kinder Scout and the surrounding Peak District where you won't be short of things to do, be it sightseeing, walking, mountain biking, or even pot-holing, rock-climbing or fell- running. The Snake Path to Kinder and beyond starts beside the cottage. Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and the caverns at Castleton are within easy reach.

Hayfield is a picturesque village, full of character and historical interest with a range of shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants for eating out.
