From the owner

Completely renovated and designed for comfort this 2 bed centrally heated cottage with additional bunk beds has a fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and adjacent dining area. The sitting room has a living flame gas fire. Rainy days are catered for with TV, CD player, board games and jigsaws. Upstairs there is a spacious newly refurbished bathroom with bath and shower over. The front bedroom has a double bed and built in wardrobe, whilst the rear, "L"shaped bedroom has bunk beds and through the curtained archway is a double bed with matching wardrobe and storage.It also has a built in vanity unit with illuminated mirror/shaver socket over.

As this is also our holiday home we make sure every comfort is provided.

All linen is supplied and there will be a welcoming bottle of wine waiting for you.

Children and dogs are welcome but please note Cariad Cottage has no garden. However there are plenty of dogs walks within 100 yards.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you found other people's rubbish unemptied. It is unacceptable and we will aim to resolve for future guests. We will replace the teapot, which I confess we had not noticed as we never use it. For those who want a garden to sit in, we recommend The Kilvert garden, just 50 yards up the road, or The Swan Hotel on the southern edge of the town which has a wonderful walled garden. Both are dog friendly. Liz

Why can't I call Liz (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Liz (the owner) a message.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
