Our lodge is iet location with views across Hastings Country Park to the east and towards the south the English Channel.

The Retreat , bar & restaurant is the place to relax with a drink and enjoy the lovely food. There is seating inside and out.

There is a shared pool on-site(payable

Shearbarn Holiday Park is approximately 2.5 miles from Hastings town centre & 1.5 miles from the historic Old Town.

From the holiday park you can walk over the East Hill to the funicular railway to take you to the heart of the Old Town.

Places to visit..................

Sea Life centre, Fishermans museum(free admission), Hastings Lifeboat Station & Winkle Island where you can find out about the famous Hastings Winkle Club & also view the new winkle statue!

On the West Hill which you can either walk up or get another funicular railway, you will find the historic Hastings Castle & Smuggler, s Adventure

During your stay we are only a phone call away when we can sort any problems you may have or you can find us in The Retreat at weekends. We do have a pick up/drop off for keys policy but I do like to meet our guests during there stay to ensure everything is ok NEW 2020 Sofa, induction hob, electric fan oven & electric fire, all shown in last few photos. We also have thermostat controlled heating for added warmth during cold nights. New 2021 43 inch smart TV Covid-19 Due to government restrictions swimming pool & The Retreat bar/restaurant will be closed until further notice.

Had an amazing stay in Hastings. The owners made sure we had a great stay and had everything we needed . The cabin is very homely and is perfectly situated for all the amenities. Thank you.

Why can't I call Paul (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paul (the owner) a message.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
