"Oh my goodness what a house!"
I love the big windows it’s so light and roomy. It’s funny hearing the seagull’s now and again it really does remind you you’re by the sea. Also seeing the sea from the window is great and the East hill behind. Now that is a hill worth tackling. When you get to the top the views are stunning. We had a bit of a dinner party one evening and having the use of some posh cutlery and plates made it feel special. I love the serving dishes they look really old and traditional. Everything matches the feel throughout, the whole house is done in a lovely style kind of mixed between French boutique and traditional English. You really do feel spoilt staying here. Oh and the cooker is great, one of those huge range cookers…great for a dinner party. I love the attention to detail, from leaving spices in the kitchen and candles on the dinning table to wood for the fire. Being so close to the bars and restaurants is brilliant, you don’t have to worry about taxi’s or long walks getting lost after a few drinks, it’s so easy. Plus some places I’ve stayed in before have been a bit noisy at night when so close to the bars but it’s nice and peaceful here.
