“Superior”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2019

The bake house is perfectly located, clean, well equipped and very comfy. It has everything one needs to relax, cook, sleep or watch telly. There are many pubs and some restaurants within a 5 minute walk, even more about a 15 minute walk away. A bus stop is around the corner and as far as I can tell there is always a parking space in front of the door. I can really recommend it!

“OWNER CONTROLS CENTRAL HEATING SO LEFT SITTING IN THE COLD.”

Reviewed 27 Feb 2017

OWNER CONTROLS CENTRAL HEATING SO LEFT SITTING IN THE COLD. We booked 3 nights Feb 23rd 2017. Our first day we had no heating-had to phone ownerwho told us it would be on constant. One morning it was turned off at 8.30am and not put on again. The kitchen sink and showerroom continually smelled of drains/sewerage, even though we put bleach and cleaning liquid down them. The courtyard is just an alley way to the property used for storage of broken or unwanted items and toys- nothing like the photographs. The property was particularly dark and this was not helped as one of the two bedroom light bulbs was missing. The spotlight above the cooking area under the stairs had blown this made this area particularly dark. Because of the lack of heating we came home early emailing the owner or our issues. 2 days later he replied apologising but not giving any real answers to our problems. The property was decorated and furnished to a good standard, but being particualry dark and a lack of heating would deter us from ever returning.
