“Just wonderful”

Reviewed 6 Dec 2016

The cottage was all we hoped for and more. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay with two toddlers. It was lovely and warm and the log fire waiting for us when we arrived was just perfect. There were lots of lovely touches including beautiful linen and our friendly host popped by to welcome us. Just lovely.

Thank you Amy for your lovely review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us and found the cottage so comfortable. Hope to see you again at some stage in the future. Best wishes, Lesley

“Excellent stay”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2014

We spent 5 days at Beech Cottage and all I can say is that it was excellent. Very clean, very comfortable beds, kitchen equipped with everything. On our arrival we found the fireplace lit and cups and biscuits ready for a cup of tea, which was a lovely welcome from the homeowners Lesley and Fred. The village is small and pretty and there are a couple of shops and a very good cheese shop and a pub where we enjoyed a very nice dinner. Beautiful countryside with easy walks. Thank you very much Lesley and Fred, we hope to come back soon.

Thank you for your review, so pleased you enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding area. Lesley & Fred
