“Fantastic!”

Reviewed 19 Nov 2015

It was just fantastic! The cottage is extremely nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and the owner had thought of everything. She is very professional in every aspect. One of the best parts was the wonderful garden and the stunning view over the countryside. Another positive point is that we didn't have to go to a shop and buy wood for the fireplace as there was a constant supply of logs free of charge. All in all it is one of the very best cottages that we have visited so far and I can highly recommend it!

“The most well equipped holiday cottage we have stayed in.”

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at The Old Dairy. Really lovely cottage, with a wonderful view. What a treat, the wood burner was already lit on arrival to make for a very cosy atmosphere. Dawn the owner is very helpful. We are already thinking about our next visit.

“A loveley place to stay, in a beautiful surrounding”

We have stayed in the Old Dairy Cottage for 5 days. It is a lovely place to be, just big enough for 2 people. The cottage is very cosy and the view from the cottage is tremendous! We have only seen a small part of the Yorkshire Dales and hope to return may be next year to explore more! Thanks for everything dear Dawn, the nice flowers and the bottle of wine !

We wanted a" get away from it all holiday" and tthe Old Dairy was the perfect place. The cottage had all the amenities you need and the view from the garden was wondereful. Owners Dawn and Barry were on hand if we needed anything and gave us lots of ideas for places to visit. Timble village is ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Loved it so much have booked again for next year.

“Idiyllic few days in picturesque surroundings”

Reviewed 13 May 2014

Enjoyed a totally relaxed few days in The Old Dairy, which is truly a beautiful hideaway. I cannot fault the cottage nor its wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared and served by Dawn on the second night to celebrate my partners birthday. The attention to detail in the cottage and in the service provided was second to none. Whether you want somewhere to relax away from the hustle and bustle or enjoy a variety of walks in the gorgeous surrounding area this is the place to escape. We most definitely will return.

“Perfect in every way!”

Very relaxing, beautiful cottage, wonderful scenery and we had good weather too. It must be glorious in the summer for touring around. Good pub, The Roebuck outside Otley.

“Good for the soul”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2013

This was our second visit to The Old Dairy. As we travelled about a thousand miles to do it this says how much we enjoyed it. My wife and I are older than once we were so we cannot vouch for the walking although it looks wonderful. Having said that there is so much to see by car in the local area that our fortnight flew by. We treated ourselves to an evening of Dawn's cooking and it was fabulous. Everything was delivered piping hot or cold as appropriate and the used plates were taken away afterwards. Basically all we had to do was lift a wine glass - wonderful. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at either of Dawn's cottages details of which are at timblecottages.co.uk. For those of a suspicious mind I promise Dawn did not ask me to put that link in.
