Cow Close Barn is a luxury self catering cottage set in a peaceful location amidst splendid, open countryside in the small hamlet of Hartwith, between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge. It is in an ideal position for visiting the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate, Ripon and Pateley Bridge.
The Barn is a conversion of a 150 year old stone barn providing spacious self-catering accommodation for up to six people. Overlooking the owners' farmland and woods and commanding splendid views of Nidderdale, the barn offers a high quality of comfort while retaining a wealth of character.
We are very proud of the eco friendly provision of electricity and heating for the Barn using a wind turbine, solar panels and a biomass boiler, contributing 90% of the electricity and 100% of the generous heating.
There is a large garden adjoining the property with easy chairs. Ample parking is available behind the barn and two cars may park at the door. Shops, Post Office and good Pubs serving delicious food
