This stunning large family home is 5 minutes walk from beautiful Harlyn Bay, a stunning sandy beach where you can surf, sail or build sandcastles. The beach is dog-friendly and life-guarded during the season.

It has just been the subject of a huge renovation and now boasts a brand new large media room and new super large kitchen, perfect for hosting large groups for family meals.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL BEDROOMS BAR ONE CAN BE CONFIGURED AS SUPER KINGS OR AS SINGLES. BEDROOM 5 CONTAINS THREE SINGLES. THERE ARE TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS IN THE ANNEXE WHICH CAN BE RENTED ALONGSIDE THE MAIN HOUSE TO ALLOW FOR MORE FLEXIBILITY IN SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS.

On a private, elevated site, Tregea and its grounds afford magnificent sweeping sea views and are fully enclosed, gated and secure. The 1.2 acre garden is well-stocked and totally private with comfortable luxurious garden furniture, a large gas BBQ, football posts, and many other delightful features. Table tennis tournaments are regular occurrences! We have a wonderful deck with a large gas barbeque and we have a firepit, suitable for long glorious evenings listening to the waves! Our conservatory with a full wall of glass, affords an area to get respite from the sun or the wind when needed! It is a stunning area with a separate indoor dining area and a huge seating area too...sit in our huge hot tub on the deck at night and enjoy the view!

Inside, there is a huge amount of communal entertaining space, a large brand new open-plan kitchen and a stunning log burner which is heaven to light and watch on cold Winter evenings. The house is very well insulated and has under floor heating throughout the living areas and in the bathrooms. For years we never had a fire because we didn't need one but we would never give it back now as it adds hugely to the atmosphere of the house, especially during the Winter months when the house is increasingly popular for birthday parties, long weekends of walking and golf, or an escape from normal day to day life!

Furnished to an incredibly high standard, this 5 bedroom coastal home, with a separate two bedroom annexe at the bottom of the garden, provides you with the perfect base to explore the spectacular North Cornish beaches, relax and unwind in the space, comfort and privacy of the house and garden itself and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Amenities are plentiful including a plethora of restaurants, golf at Trevose (1/2 mile away), a cycle along the Camel Trail, scenic coastal cliff strolls, a visit to picturesque Padstow fishing village, a ferry ride to Rock or numerous visits to the huge number of tourist attractions for adults and children alike that North Cornwall offers.

Gastronomic experiences are plentiful with Rick Stein's pub, The Cornish Arms, a mere eight minute stroll across the fields from the house. Many other stunning restaurants are nearby particularly in Padstow where you can try out Prawn on the Lawn, Barnaby's, The Seafood Restaurant, Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 and many more. The brand new Pig Hotel is a short walk away from the house (our nearest neighbour in a southerly direction).

St Merryn village is a minute's drive away for all your local needs and Tesco in Padstow just five minutes drive from the house.

The house sleeps 12 (excluding cots) in five bedrooms. Two bedrooms have super-king size beds and comfortable reading areas with ensuites and sea-views, one is a king-size room with an ensuite shower room, one kids room has bunk beds and a single bed, and the final bedroom has three single beds in it. There are 5 bathrooms in all including 3 en suite, and one is a fabulous wet room where you can hose down and shower after a day at the beach! Tregea boasts a large open-plan living/dining area and a conservatory with spectacular sea views. There is a triple garage, a surf store and ample parking for five cars. We have a huge toy collection for the kids - LEGO, BRIO, Barbies, dressing up box, jigsaws etc.
