IMPORTANT NOTICE

The neighbouring Harlyn Inn Public House and the associated buildings is now a redevelopment site. The Inn will be replaced with apartments, restaurant and shop. These redevelopment works will take well over a year to complete and during the build there will be noise and some disturbance to the surrounding properties. Meanwhile with the 2022 season in mind there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops available in both the village of St Merryn and Padstow. We will of course post progress updates on these works as they occur.

2 Harlyn Bay Cottages a three bedroom dog friendly house offers self catering holiday accommodation located in the very popular Harlyn Bay area close to Padstow on the North Cornwall coast.

The house has comfortable furnishings and splashes of colour creating the surroundings for a lovely, relaxing holiday. This holiday house is dog friendly.

This three bedroom holiday property is within a short walk to Harlyn Bay beach, the Harlyn Inn pub and the South West Coastal Foot Path from where you can walk the three miles into Padstow.

FACILITIES

There is parking for two cars adjacent to the property. There is an outside rear patio terrace with garden furniture and a storage area to the rear of the property for wetsuits and bodyboards.

LOCATION

2 Harlyn Bay Cottages is located at Harlyn Bay between the village of St Merryn and Padstow and guests can spend the day on the family friendly beach, soaking up the sun, bodyboarding, surfing or just playing in the sand building sand castles.

For the more energetic dog walkers and ramblers can pick up the coastal footpath and head towards Padstow passing inlets and small sandy bays, or walk the other way along the coastline towards Newquay.

The Harlyn Inn which is close to this house serves a varied menu and ales.

With regard to your comments on the Pets small print, quite rightly all dog owners should understand that not everyone is thoughtful when bringing their pet into our properties. The owners work with us and often wish to have these extra clauses imposed due to past bad experiences though in general we see the majority of owners very responsible with their pets and treat them as part of the family. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
