“Magical escape with incredible views”
A well appointed and tastefully restored old farmhouse with jaw dropping views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. Harlech only a short, although steep drive, or walk away, with its fabulous castle and fantastic beaches nearby. We had an amazing and rejuvenating break!
“Fantastic getaway in a beautiful setting”
The house is situated on the hill a little above Harlech Castle. The panoramic views are stunning from the house. I highly recommend the walk up the hill behind the house for views over Snowdonia on a clear day. We found the house to be very welcoming, it is lovely and cosy and very well equipped, it even has a barbecue! Kitchen & dining area is perfect for large gatherings. I particularly liked the real fire in the lounge, a lovely place to relax after a long day exploring the local area! I would highly recommend this house and look forward to visiting again soon.
“Tranquil farmhouse setting with stunning views of Snowdonia. A real gem”
Great house, well equipped. Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The kids loved the freedom to explore. Highly recommend the walk to Harlech and nearby beach. The views across to Portmerrion and Snowdonia beyond are amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend.
“Fabulous Snowdonia Experience”
We stayed at this cottage with a group of extended family including five youg Children. The accomodation is excellent and the location and views are truly breathtaking. The surrounding area is great and there are lots of varied and interesting things to do whatever the weather. I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay for all types of groups, families, couples, groups of friends etc. as there something for everyone. Really couldn't fault it at all.
What a wonderful family break in a stunning farmhouse property! We lead such busy lives that it was fantastic to escape to this rural hillside idyll overlooking Harlech and Snowdonia. Our 3 children really enjoyed the freedom of walking out of the back door and exploring the surrounding countryside, complete with farm animals on tap! The location is perfect... plenty of pubs in Harlech, great beaches all along the coast down to Barmouth, and not far from Coed Y Brenin with its woodland walks and mountain bike trails. We will definitely be coming again! Stuart & Lucy (& Clan) - June 2012
“Fantastic views from this secluded and very comfortable cottage”
This cottage is located on the hills up above the village of Harlech and has stunning, varied views over the bay and surrounding countryside. It is a pretty spectacular and nicely secluded location. We were able to let the children roam free without any worries. The cottage was spacious, had good quality bedding, the kitchen was new and well equipped. If you're looking for a cottage holiday in Wales, this place is a great choice.
Having booked a weekend away in a farmhouse in Harlech, Snowdonia following a search on the internet, we were delighted with our choice as on arrival the place was even more stunning than the pictures suggested from the website with wonderful views over to Snowdonia. We had a very relaxing weekend with all our needs catered for which included long walks and a day at the local beach, which kept the children occupied. The house was beautiful with plenty of space to spread out with our evenings spent sitting around the fire place’’ Colin Banton, July 2012
