“Beautiful home from home!”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2013

We arrived late at night with nine children aged 4 months-18 years. Everything we needed was there as Sue, the owner, had suggested(it might make my holiday more enjoyable) I got some shopping delivered and she would unpack it all for us and put it away! This was so helpful and saved loads of hassle for me! The house had everything, plenty of room, a lovely garden, loads of outdoor seating space to have extended family over. Would recommend to anyone and hope to visit Sue's lovely home again next year!

“excellent,warm& cosy”

Stayed at Oak Croft the end of March to the begining of April which must have been some of the coldest days of the year.We consisted of 2 grandparents,2 parents ,2 twoyearold twins Sue gave us a warm welcome ,we found absolutely everything we needed in the house which was lovely and warm in such cold weather there was even a beautiful wood burner but it was'nt needed. There was so much to do in the area ,we even found 3 minature railways within a short drive which the twins found marvellous!!! We will definately think about returning next year

“Idyllic, tranquil garden.”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2012

If you imagine a proper English Country Garden, this house has it. Beautiful roses, immaculate lawn, little wooden gate securing a lily pond encircled by bullrushes, a picturesque summerhouse, all surrounded by farmland as far as the eye can see. Whether enjoying a cup of tea on the balcony, the patio or from the breakfast bar in the kitchen, just looking at the view makes you feel relaxed and content. The house itself is impeccably clean and comfortable. The owner is warm and welcoming and has stocked the house with everything you could need, including many games for kids. Highly recommended!
