Puah Street Studios is a guesthouse very close to famous Bahaii gardens in Haifa fully equipped for a vacation. It offers three private studio apartments with air conditioning, wi-fi, kitchen and private bathroom for each unit. Private Studios are on ground floor of building. In addition there are two private rooms with shared facilities (kitchen and bathroom). These units are on the 2nd floor of building. Easy access to all parts of Haifa by bus or abundant taxis. A train station is a twenty minutes walk so you are best located to arrive anywhere you like in Israel. Supplies are easy as there is a grocery shop nearby with convenient prices.Haifa is known throughout the world for its mountains, beach, gardens and mixture of populations and cultures.Please note:Check In Time: 14:00-16:00. If you come on different time you have to contact us about your alternative check-in time.Check Out Time: 09.00-10:00.Sugar, salt, tea, coffee, pepper, oil are waiting for you.Anything else you can supply yourself in a grocery shop nearby (at the same building, very convenient).You have free wi-fi and can surf (no password required), no TV; You also have a cooker if you would like to prepare your own food.Payment upon arrival by local currency (other currencies or type of payment are 3% more).Cancellation policy: 50% refund if done a week prerior to arrival.No taxes to be paidNo smoking, no pets please.

Owner's reply:
We always send our house guide to guests by email upon their reservation, so there will be no surprise. The guests did not bother to read the guide since it was in English and they speak French, so it was too much for them. I swiched studios during their stay to improve their feeling without asking additional cost, but still they were not satisfied. They even required many more hours on their check out day without proper payment. We have a sign on the exit door of "Check-out is till 10 a.m." translated to 9 more languages including French on the man door. Since our small place cannot support other than English speakers we are aware that sometime due to communication barriers some guest find it difficult to raise the phone (we have free phone for local calls at premises) and report any difficulties. It is a pity that this group decided to stay 10 days at my place. It seems that they had more benefit from staying here than they admit here. Anyway, any guests can call or text us and we respond immediately if they have any issues.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Yossi (the owner) a message.

If Yossi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
