The East Anglia region

There are many historic towns and villages nearby including Kersey, one of Englands prettiest villages, with its picturesque ford and a church that can be seen for miles around set in a classic setting of many ancient timber-framed houses and cottages. Nearby is Polstead, a village that was made famous in 1827 by the Red Barn murder. Polstead today is an attractive village with a tranquil duck pond, a quaint, popular pub and an award winning community shop. A visit to the village of Stoke by Nayland is also a must particularly if you are a golfer or interested in good food.
