The apartment is furnished to a very high standard but also has a 'home from home' feel about it. It is fully equipped for easy living and has air-conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms (included in the prices quoted) and central heating to cater for the winter months. It is ideal for 4 people.

There is also a table and chairs and sun loungers on the terrace area. We have also provided sun loungers and beach towels for around the pool (which helps keep the baggage weight down).

The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, and microwave. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and a shower. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided.

Whether for family holidays, golfing breaks, or somewhere just to relax this is the place to be. Ideal for both short breaks as well as long stays.

There are many other communal pools on site of different designs available for use but the one next to the apartment is the largest and the best.There are several childrens play park areas around the site, the nearest one is within 30 metres of the apartment.Current amenities onsite in the refurbished Hacienda include a supermarket, pro shop, changing facilities, bar, cafe and Restaurant as well as a Dove Cote bar next to the 9th and 18th Green.Course facilities include a driving range, golf professional and free use of a putting, pitching and bunker practice area.As a visitor to the apartment you will qualify for preferential golf rates on the Jack Nicklaus trail.

MAR MENOR (20 minutes away)The Mar Menor (the warm sea) a large sea water lagoon one of the cleanest, safest and warmest waters in the Med which is separated by the 24kms long La Manga strip. The Mar Menor salinity provides buoyancy, so it is supposedly one of the safest places to swim in the world. It is also renowned for it’s high water temperatures which are retained well in to the autumn months. The mineral-rich waters are said to have therapeutic effects and because of this the area has a significant spa tourism industry. Second time in this apartement, and everything went very well again. Freindly owners, who always answer any questions very quickly. Very good information regarding the apartement and surroundings. I would definitely recommend this apartement to others.

This was our fourth visit to the hacienda and third time staying at the Ballantine,s apartment I think our frequent visits speak volumes. We returned to again to a well equipped, clean and well maintained apartment. There is a great view over the golf course and excellent pool meters away from the apartment . Although the hacienda is a golf complex this secure complex with its good amenities, would suit those of us who are non golfers also. Two good restaurants on site and supermarket add to its appeal. Mr Ballantine as always provides valuable information regarding local areas , car rental beaches etc . prior to your visit with their key holders at hand to help if there are any problems . Once again myself and my husband and our teenage girls had a great week and we look forward to another visit

we have just come back from 2 weeks and 5 days at the apartment and have all had a lovely time. The apartment is fully equipped and had everything we needed including beach towels and great sun loungers for use by the pool and Wi-fi. The nearby pool is great ( one of the best on the site) and the underground car park was a god send to keep the car cool in the heat. Dave who greeted us was really helpful and the whole site is really well presented an maintained. The information provided before we went on holiday was really useful. All in all, we had a lovely time and will definitely be back

This was our second stay at Ballantines Apartment at Hacienda Riquelme. The apartment is very comfortable - 'home from home', and with easy access to the swimming pool. David Ballantine (the Owner) is very efficient with the booking process, and answers any queries promptly. Hacienda Riquelme is a lovely resort, very relaxing, clean and secure, and within easy reach of all the local amenities. I would highly recommend renting this apartment!

The apartment was situated on a quiet resort and close to the swimming pool and golf courses which the men in the party took advantage of. We used the restaurant on site mainly and there was a variety of well cooked food. We liked the location best as it was only 20 minutes from the airport.

The apartment, complex and whole site was clean, comfortable and very friendly. The staff at the two on-site restaurants were very friendly and catered for all of our needs. There was great views across the golf course from our apartment and with two young children (aged 5 & 10) the close proximity of the swimming pool is a real plus.

This apartment is very well maintained, clean and equipped to a high standard. It is within very close proximity to the swimming pool which is great for children. The resort itself is also maintained to a high standard and is very secure. The resort restaurant is very good, and entertainment is provided in the resort Town Centre in high season. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, with great weather and lovely surroundings, I would highly recommend staying at this apartment.

This was our third trip to the very secure hacienda riquelme golf resort and our second time staying at the Ballantine,s apartment . Once again we returned to a very clean well maintained and well equipped apartment ,meters away from a large pool surrounded byvery good amenities including 2 restaurants,1 well equiped supermarket outside gym, tennis courts and of course golf course and associated facilities . Mr ballantine was again very helpful with updated resort and surrounding area information and key holders are nearby if any problems arise . The hacienda would suit families aswell as golfers and again my family enjoyed a very relaxing holiday . The trips to the supermarket were made much easier this time with a rented car . Will certainily book again !!!

Stayed in the apartment august 2012 with my husband and 2 children . Apartment is well equiped, clean everything you have at home but the weather is better . Apartment is well situated near a big pool and has its own loungers . The resort is well suited for families and golfers . It has a well equiped supermarket , restaurant /bar on site if you dont have a car , although a car would be handy for the many trips to the supermarket and surrounding towns and beaches . This was my second trip to hacienda although in a different part of the complex and meet all my expectations again .mr ballantine was extremely helpful with travel arrangements and we made use of the meet and great service . overall we had agreat break at the hacienda again.

Stayed in June, the most lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need. Being a ground floor meant you have a lovely terrace and garden area and is only seconds from a fab pool area, which we had almost to ourselves. The owners even provide loungers to take to the pool. Hubby really enjoyed the golf, I drove buggy as not a golfer! I would recommend a car as its a drive to most places although it is possible to walk to village where there are some lovely restaurants. The hacienda has a great atmosphere you can eat drink and join in quiz etc. The owners have lots of information about the area and things to do in the apartment so whether you play golf or not I would highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be returning.
