“Wonderful beach views!”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2015

We enjoyed a few days at Surfisde during a very stormy week in February! When we arrived we could not believe just how close we were to the beach - it was amazing to lie in bed listening to the waves crashing onto the beach! Despite the weather we had a wonderful time. The large conservatory overlooking the beach is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by - the view is stunning. Surfside is in a fantastic location to explore St Ives Bay and beyond. It was just a few minutes walk to the South West Coast Path and it was lovely to be able to go for a beautiful (rainy!) walk straight from the chalet rather than having to take the car out. We walked along to Portreath, enjoying seeing the seal colony at Godevry Point - it was a wonderful walk, highly recommended. A great, peaceful place to get away from the pressures of normal life and enjoy the wonders of nature!

“Best location and views on a fantastic beach in very comfortable accomodation”

Surfside is perfect property to stay in to explore St Ives Bay. You are staying right on the beach with what feels like your own lighthouse right in front of you. The location couldn't be better and the accommodation is excellent. it is clean and well maintained with everything you need including a lovely conservatory to eat your breakfast in whilst taking in the amazing views.

“idyllic location, stunning sea views; a real getaway but still close to civilisation.”

Surfside is exactly that, perched on the dunes above Gwithian sands which is acres of golden sand and rolling surf, with views of Godrey Head and lighthouse, and across the bay to St.Ives. Even in February it was a stunning place to be, surely one of the top locations for views and beach life and the coast path. The property is warm and cosy if you need it to be! and has a big conservatory from which to gaze, relax and enjoy the splendid surroundings. And all this, only ten minutes drive from Hayle with all the amenities and food stores you could need.
