Description

Traditional wooden beach chalet nestling in the sand dunes in the towans at Gwithian Sands. 'Beachbreak' is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday or a great base from which to visit Cornwall's many attractions.

The chalet is on a small family-run site with fantastic sand dunes right outside the door. A safe haven for kids to play and grown ups to unwind.

A fifteen minute stroll through the dunes brings you to 3 miles of golden sand and fantastic surf, which forms part of St Ives Bay and features Godrevy Lighthouse, made famous by Virginia Woolf's novel.

Parking is conveniently located immediately adjacent to the chalet.

Electricity is via £1 coin meter.

Guests must provide their own bed linen and towels.

Dogs are welcome (apart from July and August) for an additional charge of £25 each per week.

Getting around

A car is not essential if you are single or a couple back packing and want to travel lightly. You are virtually on the Cornish coastal path and 3 miles of golden sand... a walkers/surfers paradise! Local buses and trains can assist with exploring further afield. A car will give you complete freedom to explore and not restrict you to a timetable.

Interaction with guest

Once a booking is confirmed I will forward you directions and a key code to access the key safe. I only live 10 minutes from the chalet so I can assist you if you have any problems or would like any local information.

“Wow, what a sanctuary!”

Loved the look of Beach Breakbas soon as I saw it and it didn’t disappoint. The setting was quiet and comfortable, my first 2 nights I slept over 8 hours each night for the first time in months! I couldn’t have wanted for more. The sea and 3 miles of beach was 10 - 15 mins walk over the sand dunes which the dogs loved. Close to Hayle and St Ives,it was a perfect retreat for 7 days of me time. I wish I could have stayed another week. I will return with Toby & Jemima soon.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
