Situated in North West Donegal our home is set in a superb location overlooking the bay and the islands, five minutes walk from Bunaninver harbour and a three minute drive to the nearest sandy beach. The beach provides ideal conditions (weather permitting!) for bathing, walking, and jogging with the invigorating sea air. A ten minute walk is Teac Jack's hotel, renowned for its traditional music and dance sessions and good "pub grub". A short drive away is Bunbeg, which boasts more beaches, golf, fishing, hill walking, restaurants and traditional pubs. This is in the heart of the Gaeltacht, the Irish speaking area. The Dunlewey visitor's centre and children's play park is also a short drive, or travel on to Glenveagh National park and take in its breathtaking scenery. Donegal airport is less than 30 minutes drive and there are daily flights from and to Dublin. There are many connecting flights to and from Belfast which is 2.5 hours journey.

"Fantastic house to stay in. Much bigger than initially seen."
We stayed at this house as a couple with 2 teenagers and a grandma. It suited everyone and had great amenities for all. Home from home accept now I wish we owned it. Great views for miles around and a beach all within 2 to 10 minutes away. Our stay was a very memorable one.
Thanks you so much for a loveley review,we were delighted to have you and hope to welcome you again. We love that everyone loves it as much as us!

"Neamh ar talamh ..( heaven on Earth )"
Teach Únas is a fabulously situated holiday home with almost 360 degree views of the nearby Atlantic......next Parish Boston . If its scenery, peace and quiet and location you seek then this is the spot . The 4 bedroom house is open and airy and very tastefully decorated with comfy furniture and is extremely well equipped right down to the bottle opener attached to the kitchen bench ! Bedrooms are bright and airy, the downstairs double has a large ensuite shower room .We arrived on July 20th , 2 adults and two younger adults !( 19 and 22 ) and our pet dog Ted .The sun shone for a week . In fact we had a rare but very welcome Irish heatwave. We ate al fresco ,had morning coffee and nightcaps by the Atlantic with its spectatular sunsets . We had guitars under the stars .The beach and the pub are only a dander away and you can spin for mackerel at the nearby harbour . If the weather is chilly theres plenty of turf to burn and twinkling candles to make the living room even more atmospheric . .After 30 years of holidaying in Donegal Teach Únas rates as one of the best ..........looking forward to our return ..........
Thank you so much for a great review. We feel the same about the house and we are so delighted that we can share the magic. We would love to welcome you all back any time. Úna Aidan & Fionn
