“This was an ideal base for my elderly parents”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

Due to age and disability my parents who are in their 80's needed somewhere flat with easy access and parking. This was an ideal spot. It had a comfortable double bed with good access from both sides. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the living area comfortable. The carpet was a bit harsh. Lovely views and close to the friendly cafe, gym and indoor pool. SPAR shop on site also helpful. Quiet site very suited to older adults who don't want much in the way of facilities. Site looks a bit tired in places such as outdoor pool closed and dilapidated. As the site has no laundry and washing machine would have been useful. Very clean and well kept bungalow. My parents had a lovely break.

“Fantastic Accomodation - *****”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2016

Stayed at this lovely chalet for 2 nights & 3 days. It was immaculate and clean as brand new, it's full of all the necessaties and luxuries. The whole park is situated at a very peaceful & convenient place which includes a superb leisure centre, suana/swimming pool at very reasonable place (1£ an hour on Sunday), SPAR groceries at a very reasonable price, kids play ground & a brilliant restaurant. Many super stores within few miles & a co-operative which opens till late night. A very happening beach is just down the road and high street is full of fantastic food & gift shops. Chalet is full of anything you could ever need ranging from cutlery and pans. Lady who owns the chalet is a very kind woman who is doing a great job!! If you are using Red funnel ferry, just turn left from east cowes and get another ferry from round the corner towards West Cowes which only cost 40p per vehicle & 20p for pedestrians. I would reccomend this chalet to everyone who is looking for a peaceful but a great place to spend some quality time !!

“Great Place for a small family/group”

Reviewed 14 May 2015

We all felt this was a very good place for the intended purposes (short holiday on the Island). Mostly used for sleeping, getting ready and cooking. I am sure it has more potential for longer holidays. Highly recommend for small groups/families.

“Decorated to a high standard and spotless”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2014

We booked this chalet for one week, we stay on the Island every year in self catering accommodation and this was by far the best we have stayed in. The chalet is decorated to a high standard, it was absolutely spotless and very well equipment. Where it is situated on the site is perfect, open space in front and close to the pool and bar/restaurant. Our communication with the owner was great, she was very helpful and at the end of the phone should we need anything.

“Einfach schön”

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, die Eigentümerin sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Thank you Charlotte - we enjoyed our stay very much!

“Absolutely loved our stay here - highly recommend!”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2013

We had a wonderful time during our mini break, it was perfect...location, comfort and interior of accommodation is wonderful, felt homely and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend and about to re-book, as looking forward to going back to stay soon.

“A relaxing stay in a great location”

Reviewed 6 Jun 2013

We booked this house with 2 other couples, great on site facilities and helpful staff, great location in terms of catching the ferry and within 10 minutes driving to the nearest town. The house itself is beautifully decorated, towels, bed linen and the usual kitchen appliances and equipment all provided. The owner is a really nice woman and had no issues at all with the stay. I would highly recommend this place if your planning to stay in the Isle of Wight.

“cozy, functional and well-kept”

Reviewed 14 May 2013

The chalet is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It's comfortable, warm and decently located. The owner was incredibly friendly and forthcoming and made our stay there very easy.

“Lovery newly furbished very well maintained cottage”

Reviewed 8 May 2013

Its a lovely Cottage, comfortable and was clean and tidy on arrival. This house has everything anyone could want for a relaxed stay. Owners have taken care of every little possible thing in decoration and furnishing of the cottage. Its newly refurbished and very well maintained with comfortable beds. Bathroom nad kitchen are newly furnished and has most of the accessories including towels. It is very well equipped with everything you could possilby need for a Self Catering holiday. All the rooms are very well lit and you can enjoy sun rise and sets. Living room overlooks a large grass ground on which our 15month olds were there all the time. Could keep an eye on them and relax. It is very closely located to Gurnard beach which is a pebble beach. Yamouth and Needles bay are 15 - 25 minutes away. if you are looking for sandy beaches then perhaps its better to stay on eastern side of the island. We were blessed with good weather too and enjoyed our stay.

“Immaculate and very tastefully decorated holiday rental”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2012

Stayed in this chalet with family for a week at start of August. Perfect place to stay with all the leisure facilities literally on your doorstep. Accommodation is immaculate, newly decorated and a lovely seaside nautical feel without any tackiness. Beds really comfortable, great view from dining table out onto large grassy area where the kids can literally run out onto a green, completely car free so very safe. Also a view of the outdoor pool from your patio, sunloungers also in the storage on outside, a really great place to relax with loads to keep the kids occupied. Beautiful rural walk downhill to Gurnard, a must is the Little Gloucester restaurant, with garden right on the sea front, where you can enjoy local fish whilst watching the boats sailing by. TOP TOP place!
