“Location, location, location”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2013

This fantastic apartment had everything for a great city break, with the added advantage of harbour views, and also of the Spinnaker Tower, which was beautiful when lit up at night. A luxurious stay at a very reasonable cost, and a very helpful owner who makes sure all the little details are thought of. Can't fault it and hope to return very soon.

“Beautiful, spacious apartment, fantastic location.”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2013

We stayed at Anson Court over Easter, and were really pleased with it. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants in Gunwharf Quays. The apartment felt very luxurious but homely at the same time and was very well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. We also felt it was good value for money. The owner Libby was very helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay. Our favourite things were, the view of spinnaker tower from the window, the huge leather corner suite and open plan luxury kitchen, and ( for our girls aged 6 and 3 ) the swivelling stools at the breakfast bar. If i had to make some recommendations , I'd say blackout blinds and a slightly firmer mattress in the main bedroom would be great, but these are only very minor things and certainly wouldn't stop us going back.

“Outstanding!”

Reviewed 13 May 2013

Beautiful apartment in an ideal location. It's within immediate proximity to most of Portsmouth's main attractions and there are many good restaurants / bars nearby. Designer outlet shopping is available almost at your door step. We had an excellent weeks stay in a little but of luxury that still had that warm and cosy "at home" feel about it. Looking forward to going back.

“Great Property”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2013

This is a lovely flat well furnished in the heart of Gunwharf Quay. The furnishings are really nice and there is everything you need in the flat. The view of the Spinaker is great. Close to lots of places to visit with no need for a car. Nice places to eat nearby or stock up at Tesco Express and eat in the flat. Highly recommend this property

“An amazing home from home”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2013

We had a fantastic 4 nights here at the end of our 7 week long uk trip. We originally booked as, with a toddler, this place seemed to have all the facilities we needed. That turned out to be true, but we also found so much more - a luxurious home that felt like a real treat. Location couldn't be better in walking distance to ferries, restaurants and bars (and tesco!). Libby is so helpful too. We would definitely stay here again of visiting the area and will recommend it to friends.

“Fantastic flat”

Reviewed 8 Nov 2012

The flat was fantastic...clean, bright, spacious and homely with everything you could wish for. We Would certainly recommend it to other visitors to Portsmouth, nothing could be improved upon it was ideal. In a superb location. We could sit on the balcony and watch the world go by, great view of the spinnaker and boats sailing by. Can't wait to return next year

“wonderful apartment”

Recently stayed at this wonderful apartment parked the car in the secure parking area on arrival, next time went to it was to come home, there is that much to see and do within easy walking distance, it is the perfect place to “Chill out”. The apartment i t self is simply beautiful, kitted out to very high standard .; this was hopefully the first of many visits . Thank You

“Highly recommended”

Reviewed 16 Oct 2012

A friend from SA was visiting the UK and I decided to book in Portsmouth as there would be none of our children to pester us and we would be able to natter and catch up. The apartment fit the bill, it nicely decorated and very clean, within distance of good shopping and loads of good food. I would highly recommend Anson Court for a short city break.

“Comfortable accomadation in excellent location.”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2012

We had an excellent weekend with our two grandsons (aged 6 and 9). Bought a "Big Ticket" for the dockyard museums etc. which kept us busy for the two days. The boys loved "Action Stations" which we had to visit twice! The appartment was a warm and welcoming base to return to after a long day. Well equiped for self catering and its situation was within walking distance of dockyard and adjacent to waterbus stop. Even the sun shone!

“Difficult to beat”

Reviewed 24 May 2012

We stayed at Anson Court so that we could flat hunt on Gunwarf and it set the bar very high!! The flat was very comfortable, well furnished and equipped and had lovely views. We thoroughly recommend.
