Location description from owner

The Turkish Aegean Coast region

Gumusluk village is known for its "Turkish" feel while offering many amenities. There is a local market once a week, many local shops, cafes and tea houses. The seaside area of the village is unique with its Unesco Heritage Protection and has not changes for decades. Many of the fish restaurants have the same owners and staff since they opened. The "Rabbit Island" off the shore has benefited from recent archaeological excavations and a holiday here must include a walk along the ancient sunken path through the sea to the island.

Less than 3 minutes walk from the villa you can access the local transport to Bodrum Town Centre or to Gumusluk beach (5 minutes by bus), Turgutreis - a large town with sandy beaches and the largest outdoor market on the peninsula. You can also catch the bus to Yalikavak which still has its sleepy fishing village areas alongside the "Billionaires' Club" and presigious Palmarina with night clubs and cosmopolitan coffee houses and nightclubs.
