Golf View Apartment,
Two bedroom, double upper apartment with roof terrace overlooking golf courses and bowling green in the scenic village of Gullane, East Lothian.
This location is ideal for golfers, bird watchers and walkers. There are many golf courses within a short walk – Gullane 1, 2 and 3; Luffness; Muirfield and Kilspindie, Longniddry and several courses in North Berwick a short drive away.
There are several stunning beaches and plenty of attractions for families in the local area, including Aberlady Nature Reserve, the Scottish Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle and East Links Family Park.
A bus service runs regularly to Edinburgh and North Berwick, with trains from nearby Drem and Longniddry.
Gullane offers a variety of local restuarants; grocery, gift, sports and craft shops; several delicatessen and with facilities - gym, bowling green, library, community centre and Post Office. Gullane Bents with its miles of unspoilt beaches and dunes is close by. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk from all of these facilities. Local free parking is nearby.

The apartment is on the main street in Gullane above the Post Office, yet offers a quiet secluded retreat with stunning views over the bowling green to the golf courses and Lammermuir Hills from the roof terrace which is decked and complete with outdoor furniture for guests to enjoy.

The apartment sleeps 4 - 5 in two twin / double rooms. The second double room is a single with pull out bed, but there is a double sofa bed in the lounge if preferred. The apartment is on the first floor of a two apartment block, with the bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. The roof terrace is reached from the second floor by a second flight of stairs. Thus the apartment is not suitable for very young children.
All cleaning service charges, linen and towels and wifi access are included in the rates quoted.
A refundable security deposit of £100 per week is payable in advance and returned within 48 hours of departure, less utility charges and if there is no damage or breakages.
Utility bills are by meter and approximately £20 per week in the summer - this is chargeable over the rental rate and deducted from the security deposit after departure.
A selection of books, games, DVD's, videos and CD's are available for guests.

There is a private roof terrace offering panoramic views to the hills; golf courses and the Firth of Forth in the distance.
There is also a shared back garden.
Tennis courts; gym and bowling green nearby - all available for visitors. There are many golf courses in the surrounding area.

Please note that there are no facilities for children under eight due to stairs. Access is on the first floor but there are also internal stairs.
We regret we are not suitable for guests who smoke or with pets. Small dogs MAY be accommodated upon request.
The cancellation policy of Holiday lettings applies, if booked on line through them
Cancellations should be advised as soon as possible. The booking deposit is non refundable, and every effort will be made to relet the property. If the balance has been paid, this will also be subject to cancellation charges as below.
Guests cancelling up to 28 days before arrival will receive a refund of 50% of the balance payment.
Guests cancelling up to 14 days before arrival will receive a refund of 25% of the balance payment.
If cancellation is within 14 days of arrival, apologies, but no refund applies.
In case of a split payment, the booking deposit is always non refundable.
We advise that you take out travel insurance in case you should unavoidably need to cancel your booking with us, as our cancellation policy is non negotiable.
Check out on departure is 10am please and check in by 4pm. Arrangements are in place for self check in if a late arrival is expected.

Gullane lies only 4 miles from the town of North Berwick . The charming villages of Aberlady and Drem are only 5 miles away. Gullane is less than 20 miles from Edinburgh, Scotland 's beautiful capital city.
There are several lovely restaurants and local pubs and cafes to dine in, all within Gullane Village.

"Golf View Gullane"
The Golf View apartment in Gullane is an ideal location for golfers or persons wishing to explore this beautiful area. The accommodation was well presented, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

"A 2nd Home from home"
We were really happy to find Golf View in Gullane, really handy to the shops and the roof terrace was lovely to sit up on at night to watch the first stars appear, and watch the last golfers off the course. The accommodation was really clean and well equipped, comfy beds. The stairwell off the main street led up to the front door - living room and kitchen on this level, then up stairs again to the bedrooms and large bathroom with shower over the bath. The town is lovely with nice shops and a great butcher. We visited the local beaches for long walks just 5 mins away - then off to Yellowcraig and walked nearly to North Berwick! We think the best beaches we have seen in the UK. Although we didn't partake this visit this is obviously a golfers paradise, with so many golf courses around you would be spoilt for choice. We would like to return as a week wasn't long enough to see the area. Lovely property.

"Gullane Weeks Holiday"
Had a great holiday at the Golf View flat. The flat was excellent and the location is an ideal base for taking advnatage of the golf in and around Gullane. Edinburgh is also close by. The golf courses are of the highest quality. Gullane 1 and 2 are fantastic The flat was nicely decorated and very clean. Only two minutes walk away from very good pubs / restaurants. Our favourite is the "Old Clubhouse" the food is very good. The roof terrace at the flat is wonderful althoiugh we didn't quite have the weather to take advanatge! The booking process was straight forward and we were given very helpful information which made everything r8n smoothly. Overall we had a very nice weeks holiday.

"Great Stay in Gullane"
We really enjoyed our stay in Golf View and Gullane,Found the flat very comfortable ,clean and tidy and in great position in the town.We even got great weather and I managed to enjoy a glass of wine on the roof while taking in the lovely views all around ! Highlights included The Museum of flight ,Seabird Centre and Lobster shack in N Berwick.

"Fantastic location for golf,lovely village,superb accomodation"
We as a family of 5 had a fantastic stay, the accomodation was perfect for our family, lots of room,beds very comfy,everything we required was provided and the check in procedure was made very simple by the very helpful owner. Gullane is a lovely area with superb golf courses in abundance,3 fantastic courses at Gullane within a 5 minute walk from property and a 5 minute walk in opposite direction you will find Muirfield. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody whether a family or to golfers seeking to enjoy the fabulous Scottish links,

"Great value in Gullane"
We are regular visitors to Gullane taking advantage of the plentiful golf courses and excellent hospitality that is available in this wonderful village. This year we stayed at the Golf View as our regular lodgings were not available. Our expectations are pretty basic (but we do have standards) as we don't intend spending much time in the property and we found Golf View more than met our demands. The beds were comfortable (a major priority after 36 holes of golf every day) and the rooms were adequately large. We found the flat clean and all the furnishings were of a good standard. The property has been newly acquired by the current owner and probably needs a little investment in the bathroom and kitchen to spruce these areas up but shouldn't put anybody off hiring the flat. The flat is located in a building which can be a little off-putting from the outside with a tatty Post Office dominating the corner facade and the building entrance door is a little tatty but this is not reflected by the internals of the property. For the price we paid for the week, it is very competitive and excellent value in a village which doesn't have a lot of choice for parties of 4 or less. All in all, a property I can fully recommend. The owner is also very helpful and the communication before, during and after our stay was excellent.
