Still Waters is South facing on a beautifully elevated position with a spectacular sea view looking out across the Minch towards the Isle of Skye. Built in 2008 it has a warm, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere and is frequently bathed in sun from dawn to dusk.

New to self catering, Still Waters is in a perfect location on the picturesque East coast of Harris in the village of Grosebay, for exploring the uniqueness of this beautiful island. It is only a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal in Tarbert and 15 minutes to the breathtakingly beautiful sandy beaches on the West side of the island.

This cottage is on one level and is an ideal retreat for couples seeking a quiet, peaceful and stress free holiday but it will equally suit up to 6 people comfortably. The accommodation includes an ensuite double bedroom, 2 twin rooms, a family bathroom, utility room, kitchen living room and a sun lounge.

Bed linen and towels are provided. Bedrooms tastefully furnished with oak furniture and very comfortable mattresses.

The large open plan kitchen diner and living room has unhindered views South and North, high double height ceiling and a beautiful wood and peat burning stove for cooler evenings or to lend atmosphere. The sun lounge which leads off the double bedroom, is also south facing with windows looking onto the secluded landscaped garden and the sea beyond. There is also a small workroom with sea view which is ideal for painting or writing.

There is an excellent Bose Sound link through which to listen to your own music or radio by blue tooth or jack; a TV and DVD player with a collection of DVDs, some books and games for evenings or indoor days.

A shed in the private garden can accommodate bikes for those coming on a cycling holiday.

Fresh eggs and vegetables maybe available in season from the owner's croft close by.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Christian (the owner) a message.

If Christian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
