<p>Situated in the sleepy picturesque village of Grindon surrounded by stunning countryside vistas. The market towns of Ashbourne,Leek and Buxton are a short drive away. There are magical views over the Manifold Valley and we're only a short drive to Dovedale and Milldale. It's a great base for walking and cycling or,if you're looking for more thrills,Alton Towers is an 8 mile drive away. Equally,if you're looking to escape and recharge your batteries or looking for a romantic getaway,this may be just the place for you.</p><p>The property benefits from having all accommodation on ground floor level,with tiled flooring and vaulted ceilings throughout presenting beautiful exposed beams and providing both space and light in each room. From outside stepping into the lounge presents a cosy sofa and woodburner for those chillier evenings or romantic moments. There are books and games in the lounge alongside a TV/DVD - or you could just relax on the sofa with a glass of wine and watch the glow from the woodburner. To the right of the cottage the kitchen/diner is bright and contemporary with everything you need,electric oven and hob,fridge/freezer,microwave and dishwasher and a farmhouse table to enjoy lazy breakfasts at and views from every window enjoying the surrounding farmland. Returning back down the corridor,through the lounge,the double bedroom is light and airy,with a very comfortable double bed which adjoins the en-suite shower room with enclosed shower and WC.</p><p>The cottage is adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse and has a terrace with BBQ overlooking the stables and paddocks and a very private rear garden that looks over the sheep and lambs in the neighbouring fields. Cycle storage can be provided for those wanting to explore on two wheels.</p>
