“Amazing little place, would recommend!”
Dragonfly Lodge is an amazing place to stay in a relaxing and gorgeous location! Great value for money and had every amenity you could want with lots of attention to detail and thought put into the property. We stayed for one night but wish we could’ve stayed longer! Great pizza oven, comfy bed, log burning fire, clean toilet and shower facilities nearby less then a minutes walk away and in a private area, and a hot tub just behind the lodge! Jane our host was lovely, very attentive and showed us where everything was, she even left us homemade cookies and snacks which was very thoughtful and made our stay even more special. The only thing that could possibly improve this place would be the addition of a few battery powered lights around the pizza oven just for the winter months. Lanterns were provided but the solar powered lights didn’t last the time it took us to fire up and use the oven meaning it was dark when sitting out. Wasn’t a huge issue as we did have the lanterns and expected it to be dark, but just a small suggestion to improve an already amazing place! We had a lovely stay and I would recommend Dragonfly Lodge to every couple wanting to spend a night or few away to relax. We definitely hope to return soon!
Dragonfly lodge is so idyllic, the location, the lodge, the setting, everything is so beautiful and well thought through, with lots of lovely homely touches. A tranquil escape, we booked for next year before we left, that speaks volumes.

“Tranquil, Relaxing and Pet friendly.”
A prefect hidden gem tucked away in the tiny village of Grindale, Just 10 mins from Bridlington for the all important Fish and Chips (its the rules near the coast) and the Pizza oven is a added bonus - tricky to master but finally got the hand of it. The added extras Jane provided were the icing on the cake. Despite the rain on the Sunday (August BHols after all ) We had a lovely stay and will be looking to return.
