Description from owner

Description

'Rose Cottage' is a pretty, traditional Irish cottage which dates back to 1860. It is located on a quiet listed street on the edge of the historic village of Greyabbey with its Cistercian abbey dating back to 1160. The abbey is set in beautiful parkland and is just across the way from the cottage, the perfect spot for walks and picnics. Greyabbey has a number of historic buildings and a great selection of antique and vintage shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The village is on the side of Strangford Lough which has a multitude of attractions.

Rose Cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or for a young family. As the bathroom is ensuite it may not suit parties of adults.
The cottage has been recently renovated and furnished with a mixture of vintage and contemporary pieces yet maintains its rustic charm with many original features yet with all modern home comforts. It is deceptively spacious with a large living room, master bedroom with ensuite, large kitchen
