Silver Howe View Cottage is a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in the grounds of Bridge House Hotel Grasmere operated by The Inn at Grasmere, secluded in a private spot with the river Rothay running through the gardens. The house has breath-taking views from all windows of the fells and river Rothay and the gardens are the perfect sun trap. This property is great for family gatherings and get together's, with its cosy open log fire, smart TV,s, spacious bedrooms.

As part of the property you will be able to use the swimming pool, sauna, gym at The Inn at Grasmere just a two minute walk away.

“Lovely Christmas stay”

9 of us and 2 dogs stayed at the house over the Christmas break and had a lovely time. The house was large enough to accommodate us all with 3 very large bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms. The living room was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The garden was fenced so was safe for the dogs to go and play and there was a seating area outside next to a stream and with amazing views of the area. The main shopping streets of Grasmere were literally round the corner and we also used the free swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi facilities of the nearby inn at Grasmere which the children thoroughly enjoyed. On Christmas Day we did some pre dinner exercise by going up Loughrigg Fell which has the most amazing views and Boxing Day involved a flatter walk around the local area. Overall an amazing holiday enjoyed by all.

The cottage was amazing. Great views, a river in the back garden, large rooms. Just the best place, I can't emphasize enough.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
