“Wonderful Holiday House”

Reviewed 30 May 2019

Have stayed at Lochan Lodge since 2016 and have managed two visits some years as it is such a wonderful place. The house is tastefully decorated with all the comforts you could ask for. The view from the living room window is stunning and it is very special to watch a red squirrel eating peanuts at close quarters or , in season, an Osprey helping itself to lunch from the well stocked lochan. Ideally located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with much of interest for outdoor enthusiasts. For the less energetic there is good shopping fairly close and several fine distilleries with interesting tours. The house is always immaculate and the welcome pack a real bonus. Steph is on hand if you need anything and her home baked banana loaf is to die for!

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind words Rosie! It is always a pleasure to welcome you and your family around. Lochan Lodge is indeed a great house and location, and we really enjoy making sure it is always welcoming to our guests and in such excellent order that it more than meets our guests expectations! Many thanks again and looking forward to seeing you again next year! Steph, Bill & Alex
