Hi,
may I introduce myself?
I am The Thistle Townhouse, in
Grantown-on-Spey.

I am an end-terrace house not far from the town centre in a quiet residential area of Grantown-on-Spey, a planned Georgian Town in the Cairngorm National Park.

I am a non-smoker house and I am sorry but pets may absolutely not be brought, due to some allergic sufferer in the family of my owners.
The rowan tree in my front garden is supposed (as people in Scotland say) to keep the witches away; the fenced-in back garden with its patio, garden table and chairs invites you in summer for al fresco lunches or teas.

My outside is still the old one and looks a bit grey and not so beautiful, but on the inside my owners gave me a real overhauling. Everything is new and shiny. New flooring, new modern appliances in kitchen and bathroom, new modern electric heaters (off-peak storage and panel heaters) and most of the furniture is brand-new. The builders just left the stairs and a few walls

The new flooring is laminate in all rooms; only the stairs and the upper hallway are carpeted.

Towels and linen are provided, as well as a supply of cleaning materials, household paper, bin liners, hand soap etc. A weekly change of linen and towels is provided if you stay more than a week.

Clean, comfortable house with everything you need for a Break away from home. Lovely base for north of Scotland and only 20 minutes from Aviemore.
