“Another amazing holiday!”

Reviewed 26 May 2019

This was our second visit to Honeysuckle and will not be our last. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful holiday in the country. Our dog enjoyed all the lovely walks. The accommodation is clean and spacious. Many thanks to Nigel, Karen and Rob for their assistance during our stay.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. I am so pleased you had another lovely holiday with us. I am sorry I didn’t see you myself but as you know I was away in Greece. We very much look forward to seeing you again next year. Kind regards Gill

“Fantastic place to stay near Grantham”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2018

We stayed 10 nights at Honeysuckle Cottage in October 2018. We could not fault this property and dealing with Gill was a pleasure. She was a very kind lady and we appreciated her patience while we sorted out our dates. The actual cottage is well off the road and is in the pretty village of Oasby. There is a village pub, which was re-opening later in October after extensive renovations so this will be an added bonus for other guests as it's a 4 minute walk. There are lovely walks around the property from the cottage and plenty to see - horses, geese, dogs etc. The cottage itself was extremely well equipped. Generous supplies of toilet paper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee etc etc. Very comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, plenty of hot water and water pressure is excellent. Wi-fi was extremely fast. It was a very warm cottage as well, as we come from Australia we always hope to be warm and it certainly was. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and utensils and all appliances worked well. While we were staying there they hosted the Oasby Horse Trails. This was a fantastic event to see and we were fortunate to have a wonderful day weather wise and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely do so again if in the area. Thank you Gill for providing such an excellent place to stay.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review. I am so pleased you had such a nice time. We would love to see you back again if you are ever in the country again. Kind regards Gill

“FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY”

Reviewed 11 Jun 2017

We found the cottage up its own drive way it looked stunning, it was only when we went inside it was like a tardis, it was HUGE & SPACIOUS, even with a disabled room, all were ensuite. We went with our family including grandchildren, 2x under fives, the garden was enclosed so no escape routes. If you want peace then this is a very very quite retreat, as we used it as a base , we visited JUST JANE at East Kirkby airfield, a old lancaster bomber, we also booked a trip around RAF SCAMPTON , home of the red arrows. There are Lincoln, Nottingham, within travelling distance, there was a theme park at Melton Mowbray twin parks for the younger generation again a good day out. But all said and done it was just out of this world would definitely recommend this cottage to all absolutely fantastic place to stay.

Owner's reply: Hi John - thank you for your kind comments. I am so pleased you had a lovely time and hope to see you again sometime. Gill
