Description

The Chalet's One Bed Garden Flat is an ideal location for a couple or two friends (twin beds), who want to use the flat as a base for exploring the South Lakes. It is also ideal for friends who are seeking a quiet, peaceful week in a cosy apartment.

The Garden Flat is a Ground level, hillside, self contained holiday flat with central heating, consisting of a small lounge, kitchen and dining area, one twin bedroom and a bathroom consisting of a toilet washbasin and shower.

The Lounge has a comfortable two piece suite, flatscreen colour television, DVD and mini Hi-Fi Centre. The apartment also offers wireless internet access. The Kitchen has well equipped units with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, ample cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. It also has a table and four chairs

The flat has one double bedroom with twin beds. The bedroom has wardrobes, drawers and bedside tables. The entrance is via the side which leads to the garden. It is down a slope with handrail but not suitable for people with walking difficulties and has no disabled access. The property is attached to the owners main house.

“Wonderful stay at The Chalet”

We stayed at the chalet in between Christmas and new year. The cottage was fantastic with all amenities you would need. The views were stunning and the hosts, Peter and Harsha, were amazing. I would highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Owner's reply: what a disappointing review amongst wonderful reviews. you had the conversation with me and told me you had a recent bereavement which left you feeling vulnerable and isolated, even though the next door neighbours house is 12 feet from your front door. Booking a self catering cottage is an independant stay and owners are not often on site. The shower; we agree was an issue for you as its new and a bit stiff although all our other guests use it perfectly and we've had all ages stay. as for the security if the door, it has never been an issue. it's the original door of the property so yes it's old but perfectly secure. the area and chalet locality has almost a zero crime rate, we never lock our cars! you booked your stay via this managing agent website and we don't recieve payment until after your stay. any refund would be discussed with them please. we are sad you didn't not enjoy your stay and hope you recover from your nervous disposition soon as possible. all the best. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Peter & Harsha (the owner) a message.

If Peter & Harsha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
