“Fantastic apartment with great outdoor space.”
We stayed here as a family of four with another family staying in the apartment upstairs (both rented from the same owner). We really loved these apartments. The outside space was great for evening drinks and bbq's and was well equipped with plenty of chairs and tables and also a drinks cooler! The apartments are lovely and cool with the airconditioning and very well equipped and even has toys for the beach and pool, a large selection of DVDs and UK tv channels. The pool was reasonably quiet and all the neighbours were really friendly. The beach is a downhill 10 min walk but there was a bus every 15 mins which was less than 2 euros if you couldn't face the walk back (which was a challenge with hot and tired kids!). Arenales is a charming chilled Spanish resort with plenty of restaurants and bars all serving reasonably priced food and drink. Lovely clean beach with somewhat over priced sun loungers - 15 euros for 2 loungers and an umbrella! There are a few nice beach bars with water sports in the gran alacant side of the beach. The kids enjoyed the little local fair which opened every evening followed by fresh churros and the little market stalls. Recommended trips would be pola park if you have kids between 3 and 12, Santa pola,a boat trip to tabarca and a day/evening in Alicante.
