"Lovely, relaxing holiday in the Gower"
I stayed here for one week with my two little dogs. The bungalow was clean and tidy and there was a small box of chocolates awaiting my arrival. There is a bus stop just down the road from the holiday park, with hourly trips to Rhossilli (dogs are allowed on the buses). We had a great time travelling around the countryside and visiting the beaches and cliffs in the area. There is a swimming pool in the park which I used a couple of times, lovely, warm water. My only gripe was the v. small grass area cordoned off for the dogs, but there is a little green just across the road and plenty of places to visit with them. Part of the reason I chose to visit wales is because they are a very dog-friendly country.

"Lovely homely bungalow"
We stayed at no 24 The Gower Holiday Village in early April 2015 with our 2 children aged 5 and 6. Angie could not have been more helpful, even asking what age and gender our children were so that she could provide appropriate bedding. The directions to the village were excellent. The bungalow was well furnished, well equipped and given that it was the Easter hols, there were even 2 Easter eggs out for the girls and a box of chocs for us on our arrival! The girls loved the tv in their bedroom and the cuddly toys that had been left out for them to borrow during our stay. The pool was great and the Holiday Village itself was quiet and safe for the girls to play outside. After we'd left, Angie emailed to say we'd forgotten a couple of items of girls' clothing. She then posted them back to us, refusing to let me reimburse her for the postage. We had a really lovely time and the booking and arranging could not have been easier. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Having just returned from a short stay (Thursday - Mon) at no.24 I can honestly say all the excellent reviews about Angie's accommodation are spot on. She really does think of everything from stocking the cupboards with the basics to providing toiletries in the bathroom. Angie even kindly made up the sofa as an extra bed so that 2 teenage boys and a grandmother could all be accommodated comfortably. The boys loved having a pool and jacuzzi so close and grandma and I had fun exploring all the local beaches. Would highly recommend staying here and personally hope to return again soon.

"Lovely bungolow , lovely area"
The bungolow was very well equiped, and nicely decorated.Angie the onwer had thought of everything. This has been one of the best equiped places i have stayed in. The bungolow was of a very high standard. Angie had provided milk and other foods on arrival even a box of welcome chocolates. there was also a mobile phone provided if you needed as the Gower only recieves very limited mobile reception on certain networks, we did not need to use the phone but thought this a lovely extra touch. The bungolow is about just over a mile away from the nearest beach of Port Enyon. The Gower is a spectacular place to visit with amazing beaches. All within a short distance drive of the holiday village. We hope to return one day and would definitely choose to stay in Angie's bungolow again.

"Great accommodation, great location, great holiday!"
The bungalow is situated in the Gower Holiday Village which has around 50 or so bungalows and a small camping site. At the heart of the village is a well maintained indoor pool and jacuzzi and a small amusement room. Its a fairly quiet site. The bungalow is on the edge of the site and overlooks a rugby pitch, it is quiet and nicely situated. The bungalow is well decorated with bright, clean modern decor and everything you need, modern TVs, microwave, dishwasher etc. On arrival it was nice and clean and we were presented with milk, sugar, coffee, some chocolates and gifts for the children which was a lovely touch. The Holiday Village is ideally situated a couple of miles from Port Eynon but is equally well placed for Oxwich and Rhossili. The holiday village has a small supermarket, pub and Fish and Chip shop. All of which are brilliant. The fish and chips are better than those at the acclaimed takeaways at Port Eynon and the supermarket is cheap enough and stocks most things, the staff are friendly too. We had a week at the bungalow and were blessed with sunshine everyday. We used the pool in the morning and then headed for the beaches in the afternoon. We visited Oxwich, Port Eynon, Langennith, Broughton and Whiteford beaches all of which were beautiful in their own way, but the highlights for us were Broughton and Whiteford, both of which were nearly deserted by mid afternoon and provided us with some memorable beach days. None of these beaches are more than 15 mins drive from the bungalow.

"Super well presented Bungalow"
Enjoyed a good week in this lovely area and the bungalow made a great base for our stay in Gower. It was clean well presented and well stocked with all you need if you are self catering. The holiday village is neat and tidy as well and the swimming pool was ideal for a cooling swim after some good walks in this lovely area.Nearby shop, pub etc also very handy with friendly staff. Good communications with Angie all added up to a wonderful holiday.

"Best equipped bungalow"
My pet peeves staying at a holiday rental are no hooks on back of doors and no plug socket near the bedroom mirror for hair dryer so I can see what I am doing. Did number 24 meet these requirements? Did it ever! From the welcome chocs for the adults and the bucket and spade set for our granddaughter, the milk in the fridge and all the basics from tea, coffee to ketchup, dishwasher tablets and cling film. And it didn't end there either, shampoo and bath wash (both adults and children's), beach towels - you name it and it was supplied. Very comfortable and convenient stay. Loved the surrounding area, visited several beaches as well as Folly Farm, our granddaughter wanted to see a penguin - her wish was our command! She also loved the swimming pool and play area, we did look in the soft play area which looked brand new but felt £3 was a bit expensive especially as there was not a time minimum and maximum stated, perhaps £3 for an hours play but if you popped in there for the odd 10 or 15 minutes it would work out very expensive, so we did tell her is was closed. Our local soft play is a lot larger and includes a child's meal and unlimited play for £6. Would definitely stay again and certainly recommend to family and friends.

"Clean, very well equipped and exactly as advertised."
Angie was great about contacting us and doing her best to accommodate our group. We received excellent directions by mail and arrived to a lovely cottage with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Angie had even left fresh milk in the fridge, flowers on the counter and a bag of sweets with a welcome note. Awesome stay!

"Great stay in fantastic bungalow"
Looking to get away from the festive rush, my partner and I booked to stay in Gower for a few days before Christmas. We arrived to a homely and welcoming bungalow in the holiday park, wonderfully decorated and fully furnished to house four people. A comfortable sitting room and modern open plan kitchen make for a gorgeous living area, with one spacious double bedroom and one twin bedroom geared towards kids with fun decorations adorning the walls. There is a main TV and DVD player in the living room, as well as one in each bedroom, and a great selection of DVDs and kids’ books supplied. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment (fridge, kettle, cooker, microwave, etc.) as well as little luxuries (dishwasher, tea, coffee, cooking oil, etc.) to make sure that self-catering is as easy as possible. The holiday park itself has many fun things to do, with a swimming pool and games room a stone’s throw from the bungalow. There is a corner shop nearby, as well as a doctor’s surgery for emergencies and a homely pub with pool and snooker tables for an evening out. The bungalow is within striking distance of several local beaches, as well as local landmarks and seaside towns to make day trips that much easier. Everything we could want was provided and fully functional, with instructions for everything within the bungalow kept in a helpful folder with tourism information also included. We had no problems with our stay, although the polite and accommodating owners live only a short distance away should any issue arise. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Gower tremendously, and would recommend the bungalow wholeheartedly. It is perfect for families, couples or small groups of friends, well presented and entirely serviceable, all offered for a very reasonable price. Definitely one we will be returning to in the future.
