Description

Les Montades is a converted stone barn sympthetically restored retaining much of its original character, providing spacious accomadation for 6 to 8 people.

It is situated just 10km south of the Dordogne river in the heart of the Sarlat, Souillac, Gourdon triangle. 9km from Gourdon, an ideal base to visit Rocamadour, La Roque Gageac, Domme and Sarlat.
Just a short walk from the hamlet of Fajoles, the barn is very private and peaceful,an ideal haven for a relaxing holiday..

The barn stands in a plot of just under half an acre surrounded by fields and woodland. The pool measures 9m by 4m (1.8m deep end) and is south facing so enjoys sunshine most of the day.
Inside the barn is an open plan ground floor with a raised kitchen area. Next to this is the galleried dining hall with exposed beams to the rafters. Triple doors open onto the patio and pool.

A large opening leads to the lounge, which is about 22 feet by 24 feet with a wood burning stove,T.V., DVD and digital

The staircase (fairly steep and narrow) goes over the shower room and leads to the upstairs gallery and mezzanine which has space for a sofa bed. The end bedroom is the largest with a double bed and has a triple aspect. The other two bedrooms are smaller with a double bed in one and two singles in the other.

The bathroom is spacious and has two sinks, w.c. and a corner bath.

Prices include all bed linen and towels.
