Description

REDUCED Gorran Haven is a tranquil village in a valley with cafes, hotel/restaurant, village shop with bakery providing legendary Cornish pasties. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty the village is surrounded by glorious beaches and stunning headlands. The fishing port of Mevagissey with its narrow streets and bustling harbour can be reached by the cliff top path, or a 15 minute drive. Here, you can jump aboard a fishing boat to catch mackerel - or just watch the world go by from the harbour wall. Cornwall has many National Trust properties, historic houses and beautiful gardens; The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project and Caerhays are just three of the attractions nearby.

Bayview is a large detached 4 bedroom house, situated in the lovely village of Gorran Haven. Ideal for one or two families looking for a holiday by the coast, reverse level living benefits the beautiful views of the sea and countryside and it is only a 5 minute walk to the safe and secure beach.

The house is decorated in a modern fashion and benefits from plenty of space (and equipment) in the garden to occupy children if they need a rest from the beach. There is also off road parking for at least 3 cars.

“Great Holiday, perfect accomodation”

We have stayed in Gorran Haven before and this house was perfect for our extended family. Beautiful and safe beach a 'stones throw' away - our kids spent hours jumping off the quay at high tide. The house itself is large enough for an extended family or you could have two smaller families. Well furnished with comfy beds. Quiet location and safe garden for children. The owners were also very friendly with plenty of local advice, and quick to respond to any queries. Would definitely consider staying again.

A suitably furnished family home with comfortable beds and good linen. House in need of a little bit of TLC but all we needed for a family group of 8 was to hand. Good parking for 3 cars. Walking access to the beach was via a steep narrow road but there is a large field car park at only £3 per day just 100 yards from the beach. Internet connection is available but mobile phone coverage on all networks is intermittent. We had a good stay with adults and small children very happy.
