Getting around

We are just a short ride from the airport and from Dubrovnik's main ferry and bus terminals. There is no public transport near us and so you will require a car, though driving is easy as the main roads are few. The main road runs along the coast, so making visiting different beaches is convenient. The best way to visit Dubrovnik's Old Town or the local islands, is by taking a ferry boat from the harbour in Srebreno. For those that don't mind heights, you can drive across from our mountain to the the one opposite and take the Panoramic Cable Car down to the Old City-both are an amazing way to arrive at any time of the day. We have provided a brochure with details of recommended places to visit, along with directions and where to park etc.

Interaction with guest

Where possible we do like to meet and greet guests in person and welcome you by showing you around the property and explaining the facilities. If you are arriving late, we will inform you as to where you can collect a key and then our property manager will visit you, at your conveniece the following day. We have a welcome brochure with places of recommendation to visit, restaurants with directions etc and our property manager is usually on hand to help with bookings and general enquiries about the area.

“AMAZING”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2017

we stopped in Villa Olive just past the Bosnian border crossing, this place was nothing less than 5 star, the villa itself was perfect, clean ,spacious with an infinity pool to die for! The location was superb, 15 minutes from Dubrovnik although its difficult to park in the centre so we took a taxi instead of driving or the water taxi from Cavtat/Subreno/Mlini is also a great way to get there and cheap. we visited a few places in Bosnia - very exciting and very beautiful, we loved exploring Bosnia. The border crossing wasn't too bad, there can be long queues so we preferred to leave the car on the Croatian side and walk through (the villa is only 5 min walk from the crossing) All in all if you want to visit Bonia and Croatia this is the place to stay (Boz Holidays), I cant rate this place enough, would definitely go back if there weren't any other places to visit in the world!

Owner's reply: Hi Sam and thanks for your glowing review and the highest compliment is that you would like to come back and stay. It makes all our hard work worthwhile . I think once they have the infasture for the border and the Schengen Agreement is in place we should be back to normal, I just wish it had been this year as they had ' promised' . I am so pleased you had a great stay and got out and about and saw the beauty in the place and people as we do. Please do come back you would be more than welcome Anytime! All the best and thanks again. Sara and the Bozholidays Team

“Relax and Re-charge”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2016

The pictures in the advert don't do justice to villa Olive. The place was immaculate and very high spec. We immediately felt in holiday mode. Every bedroom faces the sea and the surrounding mountains. We each had our own bathroom which was a real luxury. The air conditioning is a life saver and kept the bedrooms super cool. The pool is glorious and this is where our boys spent most of their time. It was ideal for relaxing on a lilo and just gazing out at the amazing view. We lounged near the pool and read, ate al fresco in the evenings then listened to music and drank wine late into the warm nights. We traveled to Trebinje for our big supermarket shop (called Bingo) and the rest of the time just walked down the road to a nearby local shop which stocked most things. A trip or two to Dubrovnik is of course a must. Go really early in the morning before the bus groups arrive if you wish to walk the walls. We also took a boat to the island of Lokrum - there's a salt pool there so take your cossies - it feels really bouyant. The service was superb - a lot of effort is put into the upkeep of the place. Would definitely recommend this place all round!

Owner's reply: Wow - Thank you for those very kind words. We are so pleased you and the family enjoyed your stay with us-and that you appreciated all the hard work by our team. I do hope that you'll be able to join us again sometime in the future as we would love to be able to host you all. Please tell all your friends ,as that would the biggest compliment of all. All the best Sara and Bozholidays Team.
