“Beautiful property, lovely setting, just a few tweaks needed”

Reviewed 4 Feb 2013

The cottage is beautiful. Just what we wanted! Located at the end of a quite lane and opposite the Priory, it looked stunning covered in a thick layer of snow. The layout is also great: nice big kitchen, spacious dining/TV room and cosy lounge with an open fire. Bedrooms were perfectly fine and the master had a nice ensuite. The decor and furnishings were also lovely. Would have given it a 5/5 if there had not been a few minor niggles - no bedside tables & reading lamps in any of the bedrooms, couldn't run bath in the ensuite, and have a hot shower in the main bathroom at the same time, and bathrooms and cooking area of kitchen could have done with a good clean. Sort these bits out and it's 5 star for sure!
