“Lovely quiet family holiday”

Reviewed 1 Oct 2017

We had a lovely 2 weeks in this villa. Fiona the owner was available via text during our entire stay. The villa was cleaned on the Friday half way through our stay and bed linen was changed. The terrace and garden were well maintained and the gardeners came in twice to look after the lawn. The villa is the last on the row and on the flight path as the planes land at Tenerife South airport. I thought this would disturb us but the planes landed at 11am, 5pm and about 10pm. It never bothered us at all, saved us having to look at the clock as the flights were on time. Most of the time we were out at the pool, bar, attractions etc so didn't even notice the planes landing. The villa is secure and perfect size. My only grumble (if that's the word) was that we had to go out the front door to walk around to the back path to go to the pool because we couldn't lock the patio doors from the outside. It was a bit irksome but we coped. Having a key to allow us to go from the pool to Grandee O'Donnells was fabulous!!!! It was like having our own pool bar. The pool was clean, we never had trouble getting a sun bed by the pool and because it was a communal pool our children were able to play with other children which was great. I would recommend this villa to anyone, the ceiling fans kept us cool at night and the black out curtains made sure we had a great night sleep. When we decide to holiday in Tenerife again, we will certainly consider this villa as our place to stay.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review and glad you enjoyed your stay ,sorry about not being able to lock the patio doors -I know it's a nuisance and if I ever need to change the door will make sure I will have one that you can lock from inside and out

“Ideal location”

Reviewed 27 Apr 2017

We enjoyed our stay at the bungalow in Adelfas 1,lovely views from a large sunny terrace with all day sunshine .The bungalow was well equipped, and we would certainly recommend it and be happy to stay there again. The location was ideal ,on main bus routes to all areas. Local shops cater for most needs and local Irish pub Grande O'Donnells serves food all day, wifi and all major sports.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review, glad you enjoyed your holiday

“Great location, peaceful but with easy access to bars and restaurants and stunning views!”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2017

This is a truly lovely bungalow with plenty of inside and outdoor space, good security and beautiful views out to the sea and the mountains. It is at the end of a track just off the main one way system so is very accessible but is extremely peaceful despite being so close to some good bars and restaurants and so close to the golf which was the main reason for visiting. The only thing that stopped us from rating it as 'Excellent', and through no fault of the owners at all (who informed us as soon as they became aware of the issue before the holiday), was that renovations to the main pool had not completed in time. With two teenagers it was necessary for us to go elsewhere for lunch so that they could still swim as the alternative pools on site were a little too small for them. However, this would not stop us from returning or happily recommending this bungalow to others and I understand the pool was to be filled the week after we departed. We have stayed in this area several times but were not previously aware how close it was to San Blas, the main square. Thanks to the detailed information given to us by the owner, we were able to visit on this occasion for shopping and eating out giving us more variety than on previous occasions.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review and glad you enjoyed your holiday.I can only apologise again about the pool, the original start date of November was moved to January and it wasn't anticipated to take 4 months to complete!

“Spacious, Lovely Pool and Close to Airport”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

The Bungalow is wonderfully spacious with a sunny (and private) terrace. We liked the ceiling fans and breezes through the window that kept things comfortably cool without the sometimes over aggressive chill that air con provides. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is on the flight path but you soon get used to it and of course it makes for a very short transfer so you can get on with your holiday straight away - a definite plus point. Apart from the aeroplanes, it's actually very peaceful and relaxing. From the terrace, there are a few steps down to the garden path and then just a short stroll to the swimming pool. Pool is lovely - a great size for 'proper' swimming and loads of room if you just want to splash about instead. The pool area is well maintained and has free sunloungers and is well maintained. Even though we visited in Aug, it was never crowded. There's a small supermarket a couple of mins walk away but it's pricey so Ok for a few bits but suggest using Mercadona instead. Drive in under 10 mins or walk (20/25 mins) and catch a taxi back for 5 euros. Maria in reception (you need to use the reception in Las Adelfas 2) is very helpful with local info/trips etc. Next to her office is a 'water machine' which is very cheap - take your empties and refill for 10 cents a litre. The immediate beach isn't anything special - rocky - but running alongside is a really nice coastal walk (with a safe path) which we (inc 3 children) enjoyed. You can turn towards the Marina area with restaurants or venture further in the opposite direction till you come to San Blas Square with its restaurants and little souvenir shops. At a very steady stroll (with kids and making photo stops) from bungalow to the Square its about 25 mins walk each way but you could do it a good bit quicker. The Waterfall restaurant in Las Adelfas 2 (minutes away from bungalow) is very good - fresh homemade food, lots of choice and daily specials too. They offer entertainment with Sunday lunch (also Thu I think) and a Wednesday quiz night too (suitable for families) if you want some low key fun. The only things missing for us were a BBQ (but no big deal) and wi-fi access at the bungalow but both were clearly explained to us in advance so no complaints at all. Overall we would be very happy to recommend the bungalow for a comfortable, chilled break and as already said, you will love the pool.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review and glad you enjoyed your holiday .Have taken on board your suggestions of wi fi and BBQ (think the latter will be the easier one to resolve)
