“El Cid is NOT too good to be true”

I planned a trip to El Cid with a group of friends looking to escape the cold NYC weather. We had the highest of hopes based on the pictures and descriptions... and even they were surpassed. The management co. held our hand every step of the way - helping us with airport shuttles, pre-ordering groceries, our itinerary, etc. The 'villa' (I don't think this word does it justice) was exactly how it was portrayed in the pictures. Big rooms, high ceilings, clean... great views... I would certainly recommend El Cid for anyone with a big group looking to experience Marbella.

We stayed as a large family group for a week in the fabulous villa El Cid. Everything was perfect. Lots of space for everyone and a great outdoor kitchen and dining area for long family meals. Plenty of space around the excellently maintained swimming pool and garden. Excellent management by Barbara from DSV and Andrea, the local manager. Nothing was too much trouble for Andrea and her help was very much appreciated by all. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa El Cid for an extra special holiday with family or friends.

We were 25 people who had a very enjoyfull time at El Cid. The size of the property made us feel like we were at a hotel. The house was first class and it was a touch of quality in every little detail. The manager was improving the property at the time we stayed at the place. They did some welding and some facilities were out of order because of the refurbishment, but this was'nt noticeable at all. In fact, everyone who worked there during our stay was very gentle and helpfull. The area around, and especially the view was astonishing. The only problem was that we did'nt rent cars. I recommend this for the next ones, as the property is stationed in the hills, a little distance from the nearest supermarket and further from the city centre. Enjoy the stay, you will remember it!

Had a wonderful time at the Villa El Cid. I cannot think of anything that could have improved our stay at this unbelievable Villa. The views are amazing, the facilities are second to none and the way we were taken care of was great. I was part of a group of 17 lads staying at the Villa and we enjoyed every moment. We made good use of the pool, the putting green and the tennis courts. Not to mention the great lounge and terrace areas. The kitchen is excellent and can cater for many more than our 17. Also the guy on site is very helpful and very discrete. My friends and I are already talking about a return to the Villa El Cid and cannot wait. Much better than a hotel stay!

“Perfect for a group of golfers”

We had a perfect stay in Villa El Cid. The location is perfect right next to Flamingos Golf Resort, and just 10 minutes drive to Puerto Banus. The house is of high quality, and perfect for a group of golfers like us, or an extended family that like to have a lot of space around them. To make us all feel very welcome was Kristina. She was near the house most of the time, and very helpful with all our questions - great service. There is not really anything avarage to say about this property, everything worked perfectly, and all furnitures was of high quality. The outside area was great, plenty of space for 20 or even more for dinner, and with a big pool and nice jacuzzi. From what has been invested into this property, it was really good value for money.
