For nature lovers, the area abounds with wildlife, with red kites, owls, badgers and deer regularly seen from the barns. The Gower Peninsular has some wonderful beaches with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay which is less than 25 miles away. The Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons National Park (which is visible from the gardens) make an excellent day trip.

The owners keep rare breeds sheep on the surrounding farmland.

This really is a great location for exploring West Wales and these charming, well appointed cottages make an ideal base. Llandeilo is only 3 miles away and there you will find a whole host of nice pubs, cafes and delicatessens in which to eat.
