Description

Villa Deniz is a stunning new three bedroomed airconditioned villa, set on an 600sqm stand with a beautiful private pool. We have HD TV with euro sport channels and +-40 english channels. All the bedrooms have suberb mountain views and overlook the beautiful suburb of Gocek. A ten minute walk will take you to the Gocek harbour where you can indulge yourself in one of the many waterfront bars or restaurants. In the boutique town of Gocek there are shops selling everything you will need for an ideal holiday in the sun. Gocek is a major yachting centre popularized by Prince Charles and former Turkish president,Turgut Ozal. The town has a remarkable concentration of upmarket facilities. From the Harbour there are various boat trips that can be taken to the famous Twelve Islands or Gulets can be chartered for longer voyages.

The beautiful Callis beach is a ten minute drive from Gocek centre. From Gocek one can either rent a car or use the local taxi (Dolumus) to reach the small bustling town of Fethiye with its sheltered bay, a good spot for scuba diving and boating. There are a multitude of sights within 45min drive from Gocek such as Lycian tombs cut into the cliffs, ancient ruins of Xanthos, Dalyan, Pinara and Letoon, the beautiful lagoon of Oludeniz and the magnificent Saklikent Gorge.

The villa sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms each with their own balcony, one with en suite shower room and a third bedroom with bunkbeds. There is a further family bathroom including jacuzzi bath and shower, plus a downstairs cloaks/wc. The large veranda is shaded all day until sunset in time for a sundowner. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there are sunloungers and veranda furniture. The villa is cleaned weekly and all linen is provided. The nearest shop for basic provisions is 800 metres away with four supermarkets and several grocers in the village itself.

Villa Deniz is only a twenty minute journey from the new international airport at Dalaman.

“Stayed here three years running, looking forward to our fourth.”

Located on a quiet street with hardly any through traffic, a beautiful, well equipped villa with a good size private pool in a spacious well established garden with it's own fig tree and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. We've stayed in Villadeniz in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and are returning again in 2020. We're a group of two couples who've rented many villas over the years and our repeat visits to Villadeniz shows how highly we rate it. Lisa the owner is always helpful, accomodating and responsive and Mehmet arranges our airport transfers and private one day boat tours of the islands. So thankful we found this property in the first place.

“Cool villa”

We enjoyed our stay at this Villa. Our stay coincided with the coup in July 2016, but Gocek seemed unaffected. The villa is well equipped and the air con was a relief after the hot days. About the area, the only down side was the lack of beaches in Gocek. We didn't have a car for one week so struggled a bit for things to do with a toddler. The Arion hotel opposite were a great help and we often ate with them in the evenings as they served beautiful traditional Turkish food and we used their facilities. The villa though was probably one of the best we have stayed in and was a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. A warning about the wifi it's expensive and 40 lira was used up in a day.

Villa Deniz was wonderful. Beautifully clean, beds extremely comfortable, pool amazing and everything you could possibly need. Gocek harbour is great, make sure you visit Osmand Barber, my husband looked forward to his shave every other day, with an amazing head massage all for approx. £4 We didn't hire a car but instead used taxi's usually Mehmet! You will not be dissapointed.
