AMBER COTTAGE at Crickley Court.

Amber Cottage, a converted stable which has been laid out 'upside down' all the bedrooms are downstairs and there is a lovely cosy open plan living area upstairs. Kitchen, dining area and living room are all combined in one. Great views across open fields towards the malvern hills and Gloucestershire Tastefully decorated, with comfy sofa and digital TV. Comfortable beds and fresh white bed linen and towels.

Crickley Court was at one time a Coaching Inn called “The Crown” and thought to be at least three hundred years old.

The inn's stables were for the extra horses required to help pull the coaches up Crickley Hill. Our two holiday cottages at Crickley Court were converted from the Old Stable Block. They are very well equipped and both have been awarded the 'Visit Britain' 4 Stars rating.

Amber Cottage can accommodate 4 people. The main bedroom has a super king size bed and the second bedroom

“Cotswold's lovely place to stay”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2017

We enjoyed 3 night stay over New Year. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, had everything we need. Looked very cosy with a wood burner and a Christmas Tree. We had a very special New Year Eve with fireworks in the back garden. The location is great for walking. We were happy to explore Cotswold villages and local pubs. John the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

“Sheer bliss!”

Booked for the four days over Christmas and cannot recommend enough! John was an excellent host, greeting us on arrival and showing us the amenities before leaving us to our own devices to enjoy ourselves. Superbly situated for exploring Bath, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Gloucester and Cheltenham! Cottage was amazing! Hosts were equally so! 11/10 will book again next year!

Lovely cottage well located not far from Motorway/ major highways making most locations within The Cotswolds accessible. Car essential as described by owners.Cottage spot on for us( family of 4-two boys aged 7&4). The boys loved the gardens with swings/trampoline/tree house/slides etc...The cottage was cosy and facilities and cleanliness was excellent. Will look at going back again....hopefully in the summer months to check out the pool.

“Very Comfy Accommodation”

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in this very clean and comfortable accommodation. The owner was very helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. On our departure he generously sent us off with a bagful of delicious home grown cooking apples and pears. The location is great for walking stretches of the beautiful Cotswold Way ... the views , scenery and autumn colours were stunning. We also enjoyed a super evening in Cheltenham with a meal and excursion to the IMAX cinema.

we stayed here for 3 nights 4 days 2 adults and 2 kids adorable cottage. It had everything that was needed home from home , although we were out and about alot it was nice to know we were coming home to a cozy cottage in a peaceful setting. On arrival John was promplty there to welcome us and show us around asking us if we needed anything etc just to give him a call. He filled the basket with logs for the burner although we didnt use this as didnt spend enough time. This cottage is perfect for a peaceful holiday and a great place to relax.. visit Bourton-on-the-water lovely wee place.. all surrounding pubs food delicious.. Loved Johns map very useful .. Thanks for everything !!!

“Cosy home from home”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2015

The cottage is perfect and completely self contained amidst beautiful surroundings. We went for only 3 nights but very much wished it could have been for longer. It was the middle of winter but very cosy with the wood burner. John and his wife were exceptionally accommodating, helping us and being very welcoming at every turn. We were a very new family at the time, with a 3 week old baby and the flat was ideal for what we needed. We had plenty of privacy but help if we needed it. There are plenty of ameniities close by, including a big Tesco should you need to stock up on provisions. I highly recommend this lovely little cottage.

“Absolutely lovely cottage with beautfiul views and very friendly owners.”

Five of us had an absolutely fantastic bank holiday weekend stay at Amber cottage. Even before we'd arrived Geoff was very responsive and warm over email regarding the changeable number of our party. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome and it was made very clear to us that we could just knock on their door if we needed anything but at the same time we were left to enjoy ourselves and the cottage. The upstairs open plan is a lovely space to hang out socially and we loved looking out of the windows towards Gloucester. We were also laughing at the fact that everything about the cottage is to a much higher standard than our own homes! Geoff also offered us the opportunity to swim in the pool in their garden, which was a real treat too. I strongly recommend this lovely lovely place. Thanks very much Geoff and Lis!

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the compliments - much appreciated! We do try our best to ensure guests have a great stay in our cottages.
