This Docks Duplex Penthouse Apartment via the lift is Located on the 4th and 5th floor of a converted flour mill in the heart of the Gloucester Docks with fantastic views over the Main Docks Marina from two Juliet balconies. Up the spiral stairs is the Master Bedroom which has roof sky windows fitted with black out blinds, also double doors to the Juliet balcony with stunning views over the docks. There is also the main bathroom with shower over the bath. Down stairs there is a W/C and sink and a double bedroom with a large window with great views. The open plan living, and kitchen area has double doors to the Juliet balcony. There are great views over the Docks and very large windows which floods the apartment with light and it's decorated to a very high standard. The apartment has two large double bedrooms with bath towels provided. The kitchen has all the utilities you may need for making and eating meals for up to four guests at the dinner table. The Docks area is a up and coming GEM which is constantly improving with many restaurants and bars along the waterfront. The surrounding Cotswolds and Forest of Dean is attracting a lot of tourists from around the world and is also seeing millions of pounds worth
of investment towards improvement in the whole of the City.

“Brilliant Accommodation, fantastic location, excellent hosts.”
Booked this apartment for our wedding anniversary, wanted to do the sculpture trail in the Forest of Dean, and also be able to go out for an evening and share a bottle of wine. We had such a lovely weekend, we have booked to return at the end of the summer holidays. The apartment is central, but not noisy, within easy reach of loads of things to do. Beautifully clean, and exceptionally well furnished. Hosts are charming and willing to help, looking forward to our return visit.

“Location, Location, Location!!”
Well, we have just had a fabulous weekend in Michael and Sharon's comfortable, warm, stylish apartment. You have to think what is important to you for a weekend break. To us it's location first, this absolutely ticks that box, comfort and style, tick, tick! Lots and lots to do here just a short walk away, no matter what the weather it's a hop skip and a jump to lively bars, restaurants and cafes. Looking out of the window watching the boats, people watching, always something to see!! We had a wonderful break. Thank you .

Really enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment. Everything we could have needed was provided and we received a lovely informative welcome from the owner, including chocolates! The location is wonderful with beautiful views of the docks and we did not need to use our car all weekend, so easy to explore the docks and the centre of Gloucester.. We will definitely return in the future.

Excellent facilities, location and spotlessly clean. Michael so friendly and welcoming and Sharon called later to check everything was Ok. Welcome pack very much appreciated with only slight complaint - larger cuddlier bath sheets next time. Even my sons said how rough they were Thanks very much sure we will visit again

“Another lovely visit to the docks”
Another lovely stay at Michael & Sharon's cozy apartment. This time we took Mum with us and we all had a great time wondering around the shops, antique store, and visiting the man-made beach in town! We also visited Bourton-on-the-water which is only a 30minute drive (traffic permitting). We visited March/April the last time we came and only noticed that the seaguls are much louder during the Summer months, but after all the walking during the day and the comfy beds, you can sleep through. Thank you for another lovely stay and the lovely welcome box :)

“Comfortable, convenient & full of character !”
A warm & personal welcome from the owner of this clean & comfortable apartment was the start of an enjoyable week's holiday. We were within easy walking distance from the Cathedral & the many museums of Gloucester. We were lucky to arrive just as a Food Festival was in full swing - a bonus for us ! Tewkesbury, Symonds Yat & many other places worth a visit are just a short drive away but we would really recommend a day at Sudeley Castle.

“Gloucester Quays Apartment”
Very well equipped apartment easy access to the city, surrounding marina, shops, restaurants etc. Very warm welcome by Michael with superb welcome pack (milk, eggs other goodies & bubbles). The apartment had everything in it and everything worked! This apartment is by far the best we have stayed in except the bed! A few suggestions to improve the penthouse bedroom the bed was a bit on the low side for a retiree getting up in the night especially after a few reds!

Apartment is situated very close to the Gloucester Quays with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It's also just a 5 minute walk to the city centre so location couldn't be better. Flat itself is lovely - a real home from home and the very generous welocome pack was much appreciated! Would definitely return.

Just spent a fabulous weekend at the Docks Duplex Penthouse Apartment. Everything you could need was catered for in the extremely clean and well organised apartment. Fabulous views of the docks and superbly located in the heart of the quays which is great for shopping and eating out. Go one way and you have the Quays Outlet and numerous eateries. We had Dinner and a Cocktail at The Greek on the Docks and can highly recommend it - food was delicious. Go the other way and you have the town centre including the fabulous Gloucester Cathedral. Free to enter (donations greatly received) this is where some of the scenes of Harry Potter were filmed and is well worth a visit. There are also lots of places to eat here too including Hubble Bubble which served an extremely tasty baked sweet jacket potato with salad. Being within walking distance of all this is such a bonus - I didn't have to move the car all weekend and could enjoy a drink or two with dinner. Thanks to Sharon and especially Michael who greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel so welcome. Hoping to return to this little gem in the future !

“Weekend in Gloucester”
Arrived in Commercial road and phoned as instructed. Found the apartment quite easily and Michael arrived within 5 minutes to show us around. The apartment was all it said it would be. Good on site parking, views around the dock area from all windows. Very comfortable inside and well presented. Very easy access into the city centre and we found a number of different ways to get into town. Lots of eating establishments around the dock area and also in town catering for most pockets. Would stay here again if in Gloucester.
